Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a service experience score at a merchant physical location include a system provider device that determines, through communication at least one of a plurality of beacon devices located at the merchant physical location and a user device, a start of a user service experience. The system provider device also determines, through the at least one of the plurality of beacon devices and the user device, an end of the user service experience. A service experience score that is based at least partly on the start of the user service experience and the end of the user service experience is generated. The service experience score is stored in a database in association with a merchant that is associated with the merchant physical location. Subsets of the service experience score may be associated with different locations of the merchant physical location.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating inferred reviews of service providers based on user behavior data for one or more users. The user behavior data used to generate the inferred reviews information representing a number of visits to the service provider. Additional or alternative user behavior data that may be used includes information that represents how far a user travels to a service provider, how many similar service providers the user passes on the way to the service provider, a typical time for services at the service provider, or a length of time the user has been a customer or attendees of the service provider. A service provider may include a merchant, a hotel, a physician, a contractor, another service provider that provides goods or services for a cost or may include non-profit service providers, charity-based service providers or public locations such s parks, rest stops, or other locations.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying objects of interest and providing relevant information about the objects of interest using augmented reality devices are disclosed. For example, a computer-implemented method may include identifying an object of interest among a plurality of objects present in an image view, determining real-time information for the object of interest based on the identifying, presenting the determined real-time information for the object of interest as part of the image view, and processing a transaction involving the object of interest based on a user selection associated with the image view.

Abstract: A method of event monitoring includes identifying a monitored event that produces a physical phenomenon that is observable and identifiable. The method includes identifying a particular input that is representative of the physical phenomenon and that suggests an occurrence of the monitored event. The method includes communicating, from the first computing device, to a second computing device that includes a sensor at least a portion of the particular input that is used for recognition of the monitored event in an environment of the second computing device by the sensor. The method includes receiving, at the first computing device from the second computing device, an event message that indicates the particular input is observed by the sensor. In response to reception of the event message, the method includes generating an alarm message that indicates the occurrence of the monitored event is observed in the environment of the second computing device.

Abstract: Systems and methods of returning location and/or event results using information mined from non-textual information are provided. Non-textual information is captured using a hardware component of a user device. Text-based social media content input on the user device is then retrieved. A location of the user device is determined using a global positioning system module in the user device. The non-textual information is converted to a machine-analyzable format, and the converted non-textual information is compared to a database of converted non-textual information samples to analyze and classify the converted non-textual information. The classification is sent to a server for storage in a database in a manner that ties the classification to the geographical location of the user device.

Abstract: A method for providing location-based information via a temporary social network includes detecting each of a plurality of first user devices within a predetermined proximity of a physical location and, in response, connecting each of the plurality of first user devices to a social network that is associated with the physical location using a communications network. In some embodiments, each of the plurality of first user devices will be connected to the social network for a predetermined amount of time or for as long as they are in the predetermined proximity. While in the social network, location-based information about the physical location is received over the communications network from each of the plurality of first user devices connected to the social network. At least some of that location-based information about the physical location may then be over the communications network to a second user device.

Thereafter, it may be determined that the ambient sound signal corresponds to a predefined user query for assistance in locating the mobile device. A predefined response sound corresponding to the predefined user query may then be emitted, using a speaker of the mobile device. Additionally, user identification information may be displayed on a screen in response to detecting contact with the mobile device using at least one of an accelerometer and a gyroscope.

Abstract: A ticket seller system can offer an enhanced event experience for users of the system by tracking the locations of ticketholders before and during an event to offer ticket resale and seat upgrade opportunities to the users. The locations of users can be harnessed to offer enhanced value to event attendees and to allow event owners to maximize the use of their venue during an event by offering new upgrades and resale options to patrons. Users who might miss an event and otherwise lose all of their ticket value can be detected, based on their location, and offered an opportunity to recoup some of the cost by reselling the tickets. Event attendees who desire to upgrade their seats at an event can be offered the opportunity to purchase upgrade tickets for seats that have been vacated by other attendees that have left the event while the event is ongoing.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for fan identification on a communication device for a performer during a performance. A service provider may determine attendees to a performance given by a performer. The service provider may also determine fan information for each of the attendees, for example, using media related to the performer on a communication device of the attendees, biometrics of the attendees during the performance, and/or social networking interactions. Based on the fan information for one or more attendees, the service provider may choose to recognize certain attendees during the performance, such as with a message from the performer or an upgrade. The service provider may notify the performer on a wearable or prompter device during the performance. The service provider may further track the attendees' interest during the performance and provide feedback to the performer.

One or more items are selected from a database automatically by determining an item available for sale and selecting the item without intervention from the person. Presentation is performed by presenting live real-time video of the person walking past the display with an overlaid view of the item available for sale to provide an unrequested view of the item available for sale.

Abstract: Example methods and systems are directed to adapting legacy endpoints to modern application protocol interfaces (APIs). A legacy endpoint may provide a powerful and complex API. A modern application may desire access to the legacy endpoint. One or more layers may be added between the modern application and the legacy endpoint. Each layer may provide a different API. These layers of APIs may transform the interface from a powerful and complex interface to a more limited but simpler and easier to use interface. In some example embodiments, a proxy layer, an adapter layer, a facade layer, and a service layer may be used.
