  • Patent number: 10118549
Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide a reverse gear sensor and alert device for a vehicle comprising an electronic hub, a motor and a tail. The electronic hub comprises a control electronics circuitry (CEC), an audible buzzer, and an ultrasonic buzzer. The electronic hub is installed over a base frame attached to a rear body of the vehicle and is connected with a power source. The tail is attached to the electronic hub through the motor. The tail comprises a plurality of illumination members fixed on an outer surface of the tail and are powered through the motor. The power supply allows a flow of current to the motor on detecting a reverse gear activation in the vehicle. The current flow energizes the motor leading to a protrusion of the tail out of the vehicle. The plurality of illumination members, the audible buzzer, and the ultrasonic buzzer are activated on activation of the reverse gear.

  • Publication number: 20040129063
Abstract: Mechanical properties (e.g. storage modulus and loss modulus), nanoscale dynamics (dynamic behavior of a material in the nanoscale) and structural properties (crystallographic orientation) imaging of material, ranging from biological to electronic materials are obtained by modification of conventional atomic force microscopy. The device and method allows for simultaneous topography and properties (mechanical, nanoscale dynamics, and structural) imaging both in liquid and dry conditions.

  • Patent number: 6558635
Abstract: A microwave reactor for decomposing waste green house gases resulting from the manufacture of semiconductors and from other industrial processes. The microwave reactor includes a plasma chamber having a gas inflow port spaced apart from a gas outflow port for transporting gases through the plasma chamber. A gas plasma is generated in the plasma chamber to facilitate the gas decomposition. The structure of the microwave reactor includes an insulating cover protruding into the plasma chamber and forming an internal cavity that is isolated from gases in the plasma chamber. A microwave antenna extends into the internal cavity of the plasma chamber to couple the microwave energy into plasma chamber for causing a plasma to form in the gases.

  • Patent number: 6036874
Abstract: A method for forming a nozzle structure, as may be used in an ink-jet printer head, including first forming a layer of mold material on a substrate. The layer of mold material is shaped into a mold using photolithography and at least one etching step. A layer of nozzle material is then formed over the shaped mold material and the substrate. An aperture is formed through the nozzle material to the mold material, and the mold material is removed, leaving a chamber within the mold material; the chamber and aperture forming a nozzle structure.
