  • Patent number: 6368537
Abstract: A laminated plate comprising a glass layer located in front and formed from a glass sheet and a resin layer located at the back of the glass layer and molded from a molten thermoplastic material spread at a low pressure over the glass layer, the glass layer and the resin layer being arranged in a laminated fashion. A method for producing the laminated plate wherein the glass sheet is first provided so as to be in close contact with the inner side of at least either one of dies used in a compression molding machine and then the dies are clamped for compression molding, with the molten resinous material to be supplied to a mold cavity being spread at a low pressure over the glass sheet, whereby the laminated plate comprising, in a laminated fashion, the glass layer composed of the glass sheet and the resin layer molded by spreading the molten resinous material at a low pressure can be formed.

  • Publication number: 20010036202
Abstract: A circuit size of a multiplexing apparatus is reduced. In terminal interface units 21a to 23a, data from a terminal is received by each of terminal-side line interface sub-unit 211, and then celluralized by a cell assembly/disassembly sub-unit 28a. The cell is transmitted directly to a priority control unit 242a. In the priority control unit 242a, the cell received from each of the terminal interface units 21a to 23a is stored in each of priority control buffers 243a,and then sent to an ATM network interface unit 24a in the order of priorities sequentially. The cell is synchronized with a line of an ATM network 1a by a network synchronizing sub-unit 241a, and transmitted to the line of the ATM network 1a. With this constitution, an internal bus is unnecessary.

  • Patent number: 6296799
Abstract: A composite sheet material, in which at least either one of opposed surfaces is composed of a glass layer for the purpose of surface protection from scratching, can be easily produced without causing bonding defects and stress-strain. A method of such a material is also disclosed. This material comprises (a) a glass layer made of sheet glass and constituting one of the opposed surfaces of the composite sheet material; and (b) a resin layer constituting the other surface of the material and molded by applying a uniform pressure to an entire molten resinous material introduced onto the glass layer so as to be elongated, spreading over the glass layer, these glass layer and said resin layer being laminated.

  • Patent number: 5059364
Abstract: A method of molding a plastic resin having for its object to enable the filling or spreading speed of a molten resin in a mold to be controlled in compliance with the shape of an article to be molded by changing the opening and closing speed of the mold or the injecting speed of the molten resin in an injection unit in compliance with the amount of the molten resin charged into the mold or the amount of the molten resin injected by the injection unit so that a stable molded article can be produced in a short time even in case the shape of a product to be molded is changed, and an injection-compression molding machine constructed to achieve the molding method.

  • Patent number: 5057255
Abstract: A molding method in an injection-compression molding machine provided with an opening/closing valve between an injection unit and a metal mold, in which in order to make a density of molten resin uniform for resulting in production of stable molded articles, before the molten resin is injected into the metal mold, the aforementioned valve is closed to carry out preliminary pressing within the injection unit, and thereafter pressing on the molten resin is carried out within the metal mold during injection or after injection, as well as a molding apparatus for achieving the above-mentioned method. This molding apparatus includes the valve (40) disposed so as to be freely opened and closed in the flow passageway (46) of the molten resin provided between the injection unit (10) and the metal mold (30) for effecting blocking or change of a cross-section area of the above-mentioned flow passageway.

  • Patent number: 4535831
Abstract: A method of producing a pattern for use in the manufacture of a mold which is adapted to be cured by microwave irradiation. The method comprises forming a rolled-over male pattern, forming a rolled-over female pattern having a scale-off layer along a boundary thereof with the male pattern, removing the scale-off layer, pouring a silicone RTV rubber into a cavity of the female pattern to form a match plate therein, setting a metallic frame on the match plate, filling the interior of the metallic frame with a mixture of microwave-pervious resin and dry silica sand, causing the mixture to be thermally cured thereby forming a reinforcing layer on the peripheral surface of the match plate, placing the male pattern within the reinforcing layer after removing the match plate therefrom, and injecting a microwave-pervious silicone rubber into the gap formed between the reinforcing layer and the male pattern thereby forming a mold defining layer on the inner surface of the reinforcing layer.
