  • Publication number: 20120131321
Abstract: Various features for a computer operating system include mechanisms for operating where a single native application, in the form of a Web browser, exists for an operating system, and all other applications run as Web apps of the browser application. A computer-implemented object tracking method includes instantiating, a first time, an operating system object on a computing device; automatically identifying contextual meta data that defines a state of objects that are open on the computing device, other than the instantiated operating system object, when the operating system object is instantiated; and storing the identifying contextual meta data in correlation with the operating system object, wherein the contextual meta data identifies one or more objects that are active in the operating system when the operating system object is instantiated.

  • Publication number: 20100175834
Abstract: A wafer splitting laminate mechanism mounted onto a wafer spitting machine to anchor a wafer includes a cantilever bar, an activating mechanism and a suppressing element. The activating mechanism is fixedly located on the wafer splitting machine to connect and drive the cantilever bar to move. The suppressing element is located at one end of the cantilever bar. The wafer is held by a fixed clip and positioned on a work station of the wafer splitting machine. During preparing the wafer splitting process, the activation mechanism drives the cantilever bar to move and suppress the wafer before the splitting process is performed. Thus warping of the wafer can be reduced during the splitting process.

  • Patent number: 6457821
Abstract: The present invention overcomes the problem of filter blockage created by bubble accumulation underneath the filter of previous printheads with a filter carrier and filter that reduces air bubble blockage of the filter. Namely, air bubble blockage of the filter is avoided by trapping more bubbles in a designated area with a horizontal ink flow, relative to the substrate. In addition to the filter carrier and filter, the printing device further includes an outer housing, a substrate and an ink conduit. The substrate has a back surface and a front surface with ink ejection chambers formed thereon. The ink conduit has a distal end proximate to the back surface of the substrate. The ink conduit, the outer housing and the substrate define an ink flow path to the ink ejection chambers and a bubble accumulation chamber in communication with the ink flow path such that buoyancy will tend to move bubbles that accumulate in the ink flow path into the bubble accumulation chamber.

  • Patent number: 6443322
Abstract: An equipment enclosure includes a set of features enabling alignment of an electronic component with an L-shaped wall bracket. The bottom of the component rests on a base of the bracket. A rear wall of the bracket includes fastener elements, such as threaded standoffs, and alignment posts that extend forward beyond the standoffs. The rear of the component likewise includes fastener elements, such as captive screws, and alignment openings. During installation, the component is brought into a position in which the alignment openings engage the alignment posts, and then the component is pushed rearward until it abuts the rear wall of the bracket. The fasteners become mutually aligned for subsequent fastening.

  • Patent number: 6234622
Abstract: Described is an ink delivery system is that utilizes a filter carrier to simplify the process of attaching the filter. The filter carrier is an element that has a conduit that is substantially surrounded by a filter attach surface. The filter is attached to this surface, such that substantially all fluid passing through the conduit is filtered. The filter carrier is installed into a housing upon which a printhead is mounted. The filter then divides the ink delivery portion of the housing into upstream and downstream sections such that ink flows from the upstream portion through the filter to the downstream portion and to the printhead. The separation of the filter sing from the cartridge housing provides more freedom of material selection for both the cartridge housing and a good heat staking material for the filter carrier. The separation also greatly simplifies the molding of the rigid cartridge housing.
