    Abstract: The present invention relates to a canned motor which can be manufactured more easily to lower a manufacturing cast, and a canned motor pump having such canned motor. The canned motor comprises a stator (12), a rotor (16) provided in the stator, and a main shaft (14) for supporting the rotor. The main shaft comprises a hollow pipe (50), and plug members (52, 54) fitted into both ends of the hollow pipe, and the plug members have respective through-holes (52a, 54a).
