  • Patent number: 6341895
Abstract: The collapsible container is formed by joining plural sheets of laminated films by thermal fusion or otherwise, and the collapsible container is provided with a corrugated edge structure at least in part at the edge of the outer peripheral portion at which the plural sheets of laminated films are joined together. The provision of the corrugated edge structure at the edge of the outer peripheral edge portion of the container can prevent the hand holding the container from being cut and hurt even if the hand would slip along the outer peripheral portion thereof.

  • Patent number: 6190366
Abstract: The portable, locally washing hygienic device has a water container of a flexible synthetic resin film member, a water supply tube mounted on the water container and acting as a water passage, a spray nozzle mounted on an upper portion of the water supply tube, and a valve assembly interposed between the spray nozzle and the water supply tube, in which a lower portion of the water supply tube located within the water container is joined together through a connecting member with an inner surface portion of the water container by thermally fusing or otherwise.

  • Patent number: 6089271
Abstract: Disclosed is a gas relief valve for a container for storing contents generating gases, having a support member having an aperture through which to discharge gases when they are filled in the container, when the gas relief valve is mounted on the container; an opening or closing member which closes the aperture of the support member in a normal state and which is caused to open by the gases discharged from the aperture when the gases filled in the gas relief valve reaches a predetermined inner gas pressure; and a pressing member disposed outside the opening or closing member so as to cause the opening or closing member to close the aperture of the support member so as to allow air outside the gas relief valve to fail to enter therein after the gases filled in the gas relief valve are discharged therefrom.

  • Patent number: 5375930
Abstract: The easily openable synthetic resin bag substantially comprises a) a bag body having in an overlapped state front and rear walls of substantially rectangular shape, and a bottom wall interposed between the lower ends of the front and rear walls and having opposite side edges folded down in an inverted V-shape, and b) a tear string heat sealed on the inner side of the rear wall along an opening line at the upper end of the bag body and having opposite end portions thereof heat sealed in gripped state between corresponding portions of the lateral marginal seal portions of the bag body; the bag body having a width gradually broadened in a tapered fashion from the upper to lower end thereof. Accordingly, when the bag body is packed with a filling material and undergoes reductions in width in bag portions packed with the filling material, such bag portions still have a width which substantially equivalent to or which is not markedly smaller than the width of the unfilled upper bag portions.

  • Patent number: 5257865
Abstract: A mouth structure comprises a mouth body to be fitted in the brim of an open flexible bag, and a mouth body fastening member for fastening the mouth body to the brim of the flexible bag. A spout is provided on the upper wall of the mouth body. The mouth structure is attached detachably to the open end of a flexible bag. The contents of the flexible bag need not be emptied into another container, and the flexible bag can be used as a container.

  • Patent number: 4650079
Abstract: An easy-to-open synthetic resin bag comprising: a bag body constituted by a laminated film formed by laminating several layers of synthetic resin film; a tear string bonded to part of an inner surface of the bag body corresponding to the opening thereof; and a tab formed at an end of the tear string; whereby pulling the tear string by the tab enables one side surface of the bag to be torn open, thereby allowing the bag to be opened. Also disclosed is a bag manufacturing apparatus capable of automatically bonding the tear string to the part of the inner surface of the bag body corresponding to the opening thereof when the bag body is being formed by employing the laminated film of the above kind.

  • Patent number: 4629071
Abstract: An easy-to-open bag of this invention is characterized by having a tear string heat-fused to the inside of one of the walls and a pulling tab which is defined by a U-shaped score and an adjacent transverse opening both formed in the heat-sealed border region of the bag.Due to such construction, the pulling tab can be readily picked up and then the tear string is pulled linearly to tear away the bag and form the opening without fail.
