  • Patent number: 5747989
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting a nugget for spot welding utilizing the magnetic after-effect which is generated when a variation in the magnetic field is applied to a nugget. The apparatus includes a driving coil, which applies a magnetic field variation to a spot-welded nugget, and a magnetism sensing element, which detects variations in magnetic flux density arising in the vicinity of the nugget as a result of the magnetic field variation. The magnetism sensing elements may be installed in an array form so as to face the nugget and the area around the nugget.

  • Patent number: 4801770
Abstract: A switch assembly in which a lever rotates a separate rotary member to operate a first electrical switch and the lever pivots within the rotary member to operate a second electrical switch. The rotating member is held at a first position and a second position when the rotary member is turned. A solenoid is linked to a cam that restores the lever to a neutral position between the first and second positions. A return mechanism returns the pivoting member to its original position when the lever is released.

  • Patent number: 4683403
Abstract: There is provided a dimmer passing device for a headlamp of a vehicle having a light switch which drives a light relay when it is on, a momentary control switch which activates the light relay when it is on, a latch circuit which alternately turns on and off an internal switching element in response to the on state of the momentary control switch, and a dimmer relay which causes the light relay to energize a low beam of the headlamp when the internal switching element is turned off and which causes the light relay to energize a high beam of the headlamp when the internal switching element is turned on.

  • Patent number: 4575590
Abstract: A switching device comprises a movable member which makes the first switch turn to an opposite phase at the first thrust-in position and makes the second switch turn to an opposite phase at the second thrust-in position, a first locking means which locks the movable member at the first thrust-in position, a second locking means comprising a torsion coil spring engaging member and a heart type cam recess on which the engaging member slides, which locks the movable member at the second thrust-in position, and a reset member which releases the movable member from the locking state. The first and second switches are selectable to set and can be alternatively operated only by repeated thrust-operation.

  • Patent number: 4393360
Abstract: An electrical switch structure comprising a lever rotatably mounted between neutral position and actuated position, a switching element ON-OFF operated by said lever, a latching means to latch said lever in the actuated position and an unlatching means to rotate back said lever to the neutral position. In one type of the switch said latching means is accomplished by the energization of a solenoid, in other type of the switch said unlatch means being accomplished by said energization of the solenoid.

  • Patent number: 4264885
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay which is so arranged that a plate spring having a movable contact and a fixed contact plate having a fixed contact are secured to a stopper member fixed to a heel piece for the electromagnet, with a lift pin of the plate spring being adapted to contact the moving iron, so that the pressure at the contacts and the gap between the contacts as well as the lowest working voltage are readily adjusted as desired by merely transforming the stopper member. Furthermore, since the movable contact is free from positional deviation, mutual erosion or cutting between the contacts due to uneveness of the contact surfaces arising from sparks and the like has been eliminated for positive closing or opening of the contacts.
