  • Publication number: 20240134478
Abstract: A method of driving an electronic device includes displaying a plurality of fingerprint recognition icons on a display device configured to perform fingerprint recognition, and releasing a lock state of the display device through a fingerprint authentication process upon determining at least one first fingerprint recognition icon among the plurality of fingerprint recognition icons is touched. The plurality of fingerprint recognition icons include at least one first fingerprint recognition icon configured to support the fingerprint recognition and at least one second fingerprint recognition icon configured to not support the fingerprint recognition.

  • Patent number: 9938168
Abstract: The apparatus for water treatment using in-situ activation of a manganese dioxide catalyst includes: a reaction bath configured to give a space where aqueous organic contaminants are removed by means of reaction with permanganate (MnO4?) generated by electrochemical oxidation of manganese oxide (MnO2); a plurality of manganese dioxide catalysts provided at the reaction bath and electrochemically oxidized into permanganate (MnO4?) by a voltage applied thereto; and a power supply device configured to apply power to the manganese dioxide catalyst so that the manganese dioxide (MnO2) is electrochemically oxidized into permanganate (MnO4?).

  • Patent number: 8721886
Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and a method for river water purification using a treatment soil layer and a permeable filtering medium layer. The river water purification apparatus includes a treatment soil layer and a permeable filtering medium layer which are sequentially and alternately stacked. The treatment soil layer includes a plurality of unit soil layers which are arranged at intervals. A reservoir part which stores a predetermined amount of river water and supplies the river water to an inside of the unit soil layer is provided in an upper end part of the unit soil layer. The permeable filtering medium layer has a higher hydraulic conductivity than that of the treatment soil layer. The river water purification apparatus increases a treatment flux of river water regardless of a coefficient of water permeability of soil and effectively removes nitrogen, phosphorus and nutrient salts by stably forming an anaerobic condition.

  • Publication number: 20110247977
Abstract: Disclosed are a device for treating nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater, including: an algal culture tank for culturing microalgae capable of treating nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater; and a separation membrane for separating thus treated water from the microalgae, and a method for the same. According to the disclosed device and method, microalgae are cultured at high concentrations using wastewater, instead of an artificial culture medium, as a culture medium. As a result, nitrogen and phosphorus can be effectively treated from the wastewater, and the microalgae, which are useful as a biomass, may be cultured and recovered stably.
