  • Publication number: 20040036415
Abstract: A foil seal lamp in which even when a high temperature of the seal area is reached oxidation of the molybdenum metal foils and the molybdenum outer leads which have been placed in the seal area can be reliably prevented, and in which a long service life can be obtained. is achieved by providing the surfaces of the metal foil and the outer lead which are placed in the seal areas with protective coatings of crystalline molybdate. An increase in the amount of protective coating that can be carried is produced by surface roughening the outer leads.

  • Patent number: 6052627
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting a pallet full load state determines a pallet full load state while switching the upper limit value of the mounting height of workpieces according to workpiece size. The cell controller of an apparatus for controlling a sheet metal machining line estimates an occurrence or non-occurrence of a pallet full load state defined as a function of the overall height or the total weight of the workpieces loaded on the carrier pallet by analyzing the machining schedule when a machined workpiece is loaded on the carrier pallet and has a replacing carrier pallet good for the next workpiece to be loaded stand-by whenever appropriate.

  • Patent number: 6009353
Abstract: A controller for transferring information for managing and controlling machine tools, an automatic warehouse and a CNC device reads material information (e.g., size, shape, material) on an actual material on a pallet in an automatic warehouse before transferring a machining program for nesting. The controller judges whether the material information matches a material on which products are nested, newly nests the products of a machining schedule on the material of the material information when they do not match, and transfers the machining program for the nesting to the CNC device and machine tools.

  • Patent number: 5943240
Abstract: A machine tool control system and method are provided that utilize metal mold arrangement information to improve machining efficiency and control. According to the disclosure, a machining schedule, a machining program and metal mold information (indicating the characteristic properties of a metal mold to carry out machining) are transferred to a controller for controlling a CNC device and a machine tool unit (e.g., a turret punch press). The controller transfers the metal mold information for the machining program to the CNC device by a different transfer route than that of the machining program. The CNC device searches for a metal mold specified by the metal mold information based on metal mold arrangement information stored in a file. The metal mold arrangement information indicates each metal mold that is located in the machine tool unit.

  • Patent number: 5880965
Abstract: A cell controller is provided that analyzes each unit machining schedule, which is referred to for manufacturing products, prior to the start of the assigned unit machining schedule. The data items in the schedule are analyzed include identification numbers of machining programs, the use or non-use of such identification numbers, the number of workpieces to be machined, and a presence or absence of predetermined procedures (e.g., for exchanging metal molds, etc.) that are referred to for manufacturing the products. An operator is notified of any foreseeable schedule alarm condition, that will force the operation of the line of manufacturing products of a specific item to be suspended, so that the operator may be informed of the situation in advance. The foreseeable schedule alarm condition may arise for reasons such as an insufficient number of available workpieces and/or preparatory work to be done (e.g., an exchange of metal molds, etc.).

  • Patent number: 5850342
Abstract: A machine tool control system is provided that is capable of detecting a one-sheet takeout failure. The system includes a workpiece takeout schedule which indicates the plate thickness and number of sheets to be taken out from a stack of workpieces for each product. A one-sheet takeout sensor is also provided to detect when a one-sheet takeout device fails to takeout or suck one-sheet from the pallet of workpieces. In addition, the system includes a restoration setting key which permits an operator to select one of a plurality of modes to continue control operation of a machine tool with a controller when a one-sheet takeout failure is detected. When information from the one-sheet takeout sensor indicates a one-sheet takeout failure, based on the set mode of the restoration setting key, the controller changes the measuring range, the accumulating place for the sucked workpiece, or skips the workpiece takeout schedule based on a detected plate thickness.

  • Patent number: 5249423
Abstract: A master cylinder includes a second piston that is provided with a hollow portion. The hollow portion includes a yoke portion for receiving an end of the second return spring, a cylindrical portion having a diameter that is larger than the diameter of the second return spring, and a tapered portion located at the open end of the hollow portion. The second return spring is disposed within the yoke portion so that the second return spring is coaxially arranged with respect to the second piston. Thus, although the second return spring is capable of moving rapidly to and fro within the hollow portion, the construction of the second piston and the arrangement of the second return spring within the hollow portion of the second piston helps avoid interference between the second piston and the second return spring. Thus, unpleasant noise can be reduced or eliminated. Moreover, small particles that would normally result when the second return spring scratches the second piston are not as likely to arise.

  • Patent number: 4781024
Abstract: A master cylinder for use in automotive hydraulic brake device has a pressure liquid chamber formed at one side of the larger diameter portion of the piston and a supply liquid chamber formed between the other side of the large diameter portion of the piston and a ring-shaped cup seal. The inner lip of the ring-shaped cup seal is integrally formed at its distal end with an annular projection coming into contact with a cup seal locking member, which is inserted in the large diameter portion of the cylinder and serves to prevent a movement of the ring-shaped cup seal towards the supply liquid chamber, so that the deformation of the inner lip is restrained.

  • Patent number: 4736768
Abstract: A relief valve used for hydraulic devices such as the master cylinder for motor vehicles, comprising a housing for passing hydraulic fluid therethrough to adjust the hydraulic pressure, a ball valve disposed in the housing, a coil spring for pushing the ball valve in the housing and plural finger-like portions formed in the inside of the housing to resiliently nip the ball valve so as to prevent the vibration of ball valve in the direction of diameter of the housing at the time of releasing hydraulic fluid through the inside of the housing, thereby making it possible to avoid the generation of strange noise by the vibration of ball valve. It is desirable to form the surface of valve body or the valve body side surface of the finger-like portions so that it has a surface roughness within a specific range in order to make the noise prevention effect more perfect.

  • Patent number: 4707989
Abstract: A piston defines in a cylinder housing a pressure chamber connected to a brake pipe and a fluid supply chamber connected to an oil reservoir. The piston has a recess facing the pressure chamber at one end thereof. A valve member is provided in the recess for making or breaking fluid communication between the pressure chamber and the oil reservoir through the supply chamber. A compression spring is disposed in the recess for urging the valve member into its closed position. A spring retainer is fitted about the end of the piston for holding the spring in the recess. A supporting member is provided in the housing on the opposite side of the pressure chamber from the piston. The valve member is supported by a connecting rod extending axially movably through the spring retainer and the supporting member. A compression spring is connected between the spring retainer and the supporting member for urging the connecting rod in the direction which causes the valve member to open.
