Abstract: There is presented an optical screen suitable for taking a picture by placing it between the object and a photosensitive material. The optical screen has a specific means for controlling the difference in transmission density in an optically heterogeneous pattern and/or the specific area of the lower transmission density portions, typically an electrochromic display device. By use of such a single optical screen having a variable optically heterogeneous pattern, cumbersome operations for displacing one screen for another in the prior art can be obviated.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, which is excellent in light discoloration resistance and is more particularly capable of keeping its color balance and reproducing long life color images. The photographic material comprises a support, at least three light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers containing a yellow, magenta, and cyan coupler, respectively, and at least one non-light-sensitive layer being provided at a further side of the emulsion layer being provided at the furthest position from the support. The non-light-sensitive layer contains at least three kinds of UV absorbers represented by the general formula [UV-I], provided that at least one of the UV absorbers is in a liquid state at 30.degree. C. and at least two UV absorbers are in a solid state at the same temperature.

Abstract: There is disclosed a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material having a white pigment containing layer and at least one silver halide emulsion layer provided successively on a support, being characterized in that there is provided a colorant containing layer capable of being made substantially colorless by a photographic treatment between said support and said white pigment containing layer. The present invention provides a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material having a reflective support improved to a great extent in sharpness substantially without bringing about lowering in sensitivity.
