  • Patent number: 11769381
Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for managing building pathway information. A building and/or security management system can detect, based on receiving input from multiple sensor devices, a possible safety issue in a first pathway to an egress of a building, determine, based on detecting the possible safety issue and based on information regarding other pathways in the building, a second pathway to the egress of the building, and indicate at least the second pathway to another system.

Assignee: JOHNSON CONTROLS TYCO IP HOLDINGS LLP
Inventors: Jason Ouellette, James Bauerle, Allen Houston, Peter Lawrence, Kapang Lam
  • Publication number: 20230100244
Abstract: Systems and methods for use of autonomous mobile machine for blind spot coverage may include a security controller that determines a security coverage area based on data from a facility map indicating physical and functional representations of a facility and objects within the facility. The security controller may also determine a surveillance area based on the security coverage area. The security controller may also transmit, to an autonomous mobile machine, instructions for the autonomous mobile machine to deploy to the surveillance area and perform a surveillance task at the surveillance area.

  • Publication number: 20230011396
Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for providing personalized and contextualized environment security information. An implementation may comprise collecting a plurality of sensor data from a plurality of sensors located in an environment, detecting a security event in the environment based on at least a portion of the plurality of sensor data, and generating contextual information for the security event based on at least a larger portion of the plurality of sensor data. The implementation may further comprise detecting a first user accessing security information for the environment on an output device, retrieving a user profile of the first user, and generating a remediation conversation based on the user profile, the security event, and the contextual information. The implementation may further comprise outputting at least a first portion of the remediation conversation on the output device.

  • Patent number: 10482738
Abstract: A system and method for operating a network security system implementing security cameras, motion sensors, access control systems, security door locks, and mobile panic button devices within a monitored area. Security cameras transmit video to a network video recorder and the video is analyzed by a video analytics system to determine if a security event is occurring. If a security event occurs, a security control system calls a dispatch service, which transmits a notification to only those security guards who are within a given area of the event.
