  • Patent number: 5395946
Abstract: The invention related to a method of preparing a protein or a proteinaceous material labelled with a metalradionuclide and intended for diagnostic or therapeutic application, by reacting a protein or a proteinaceous material with an agent for coupling the radionuclide to the protein or the proteinaceous material, a protein conjugate being formed, and by then complexing the radionuclide with the conjugate thus formed to a radionuclide complex.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 7, 1990
Date of Patent: March 7, 1995
Inventors: Wilhelmus T. Goedemans, Karel J. Panek
  • Patent number: 5362473
Abstract: The invention relates to a metal-radionuclide-labelled particulate composition which may be used in the form of a dry aerosol for lung scintigraphy, in particular, for the examination of the mucociliary transport, or for radiotherapy. The composition comprises radioactive labelled particles on a base of silica gel, another silicaceous material or a non-swelling polymer, at the surface of which organic ligands are bound covalently which comprise thiol-, amino-, alkylamino-, oxime-, dithiocarbamate-, xanthate-, thiosemicarbazone-, or dithiosemicarbazone groups or combinations thereof. The invention further relates to a method of preparing the composition and to a kit for carrying out the method.

  • Patent number: 4643891
Abstract: A method for preparing a .sup.195m Au-containing liquid is provided. In the method, .sup.195m Hg is adsorbed on an adsorption agent and then the daughter radioisotope .sup.195m Au is eluted from the adsorption agent with an eluant containing a gold-complexing agent. The adsorption agent comprises a mercury ion-binding material having a substantially stronger adsorption affinity for mercury ions than for gold ions. Also disclosed are a radioisotope generator capable of producing a .sup.195m Au-containing liquid and a process for conducting a radiodiagnostic examination on a warm-blooded animal using a .sup.195m Au-containing liquid.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 14, 1983
Date of Patent: February 17, 1987

  • Patent number: 4292297
Abstract: A selenomethionine-.sup.75 Se-solution, which is suitable for use as a radioactive diagnostic material in medical science applications, is stabilized with regard to maintaining its radiochemical purity by the addition of a thiol of the formulaHS--(CH.sub.2).sub.n --CHR--CO--NH--CH.sub.2 --COOHin which formula n is 0 or 1 and R is a methyl group when n is 0 and a glutamyl group when n is 1.
