Abstract: Methods are provided which include steeping and/or spraying a harvested cereal grain, such as barley, wheat, rye, millet, corn (maize), rice, or oats, in or with an aqueous solution including an effective amount of chlorine dioxide to provide a treated cereal grain. The treated cereal grain obtained from chlorine-dioxide steeping and/or spraying generally has a reduced microorganism and/or toxin content, and may be subjected to additional malting processes.

Abstract: A method for selectively establishing a voice call continuity link between a mobile device and a voice call continuity application server includes the steps of receiving a request to establish a voice over IP call connection at the voice call continuity application server from the mobile device, the request including mobile device location information for the mobile device. The method determines at the voice call continuity application server whether the voice call continuity link is needed between the voice call continuity server and the mobile device responsive to the mobile device location information within the request and network location information stored within a database associated with the voice call continuity application server. The method establishes the voice call continuity link between the mobile device and the voice call continuity application responsive to a determination that the voice call continuity link is needed.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a culture medium for cultivation and identification of bacteria of genus Pectinatus, which includes at least one source of carbon, at least one source of nitrogen, at least one source of amino-acids, at least one source of vitamins, at least one source of sulphur, at least one source of biogenous metals, at least one substance reducing redox potential and a buffer component, whose principle consists in that, it further comprises iso-?-acids and/or their reduced hydrogenated derivatives in concentration of 10 to 80 mg/l. The disclosure further relates to a method for taking swab samples using swabs with sampling head, whose principle consists in that, before taking swab sample the sampling head of the swab is dipped into the solution of sterilised distilled water with addition of substance reducing the redox potential in concentration of 0.25 to 3 g/l, and once the swab sample is taken, it is positioned into the culture medium according to the disclosure.

Abstract: The invention relates to the concentrated hopped wort for production of the Czech beer, which contains 80 to 100% by weight of pale malt of the Pilsner type, out of which at least 80% by weight is formed of malt from varieties approved for the Czech beer in the Council Regulation ES No. 510/2006, published in the Official Bulletin of the European Union 2008/C 16/05, while the extract in the solids of malt is at minimum 80% by weight, Kolbach Number is 36 to 42%, diastatic power is at minimum 220 units of W.-K.
