  • Publication number: 20240094865
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of receiving and processing content-sending inputs received by a head-worn device system including one or more display devices, one or more cameras and a vertically-arranged touchpad. The method includes displaying a content item on the one or more display devices, receiving a touch input on the touchpad corresponding to a send instruction, displaying a carousel of potential recipients, receiving a horizontal touch input on the touchpad, scrolling the carousel left or right on the one or more display devices in response to the horizontal touch input, receiving a tap touch input on the touchpad to select a particular recipient, receiving a further touch input, and in response to the further touch input, transmitting the content item to the selected recipient.

  • Patent number: 9249862
Abstract: A differential Bevel gear speed reducer consisting of standard type gears, each of the standard type gears having a same tooth form and a same gear module value, wherein three identical pinion Bevel gears are located between an input Bevel gear and an output Bevel gear, revolution-inducing Bevel gears that have a same number of teeth, a same module value, and a same cone apex as the pinion Bevel gears are fixedly placed at an outer side of axes of the three pinion Bevel gears, an orbit Bevel gear that is engaged with the revolution-inducing Bevel gears is fixedly placed at inside of a housing, causing the pinion Bevel gears and the revolution-inducing Bevel gear to revolve along an orbit of the orbit Bevel gear as the input Bevel gear revolves, and the rotation of the input Bevel gear causes differential rotation of the output Bevel gear.

  • Publication number: 20140221147
Abstract: The present invention relates to a high speed reduction power transfer device. The differential planetary speed reducer currently in use uses modified teeth gear, which makes precision processing difficult, causes many problems associated with noise during operation, wear by friction, reduced efficiency, etc. and reduces durability. The present invention is only formed of combined standard type Bevel gears, making it easy to design and process gears and solving the fundamental problems associated with the conventional gears. With the potential of supplying mass-produced volume at low costs, the present invention will be able to promptly meet the demand for the speed reducers whose demand is rapidly increasing.

  • Patent number: 5796964
Abstract: A method for improving the performance of an existing busoriented computer system with minimum or no design change to the existing hardware, bus protocol, or bus operation is disclosed. Specifically, the present invention improves the effective bandwidth of an existing bus architecture by creating multiple physical instantiations of the existing bus and directing traffic onto these different buses based on the type of bus operation being performed. This results in multiple components having the capability to simultaneously perform bus operations, therefore improving the effective bandwidth of the system. This invention also allows the components which are current being utilized in the existing bus architecture to be re-utilized with minimum additional external logic.

  • Patent number: 5761440
Abstract: A system and method for efficiently routing data within a network, such as a local area network. A search tree is utilized within the bridge/router in order to store addresses. The search tree is utilized by the router for more efficiently and more quickly determining where one or more received frames of data are to be transmitted within the network. Maintenance of the search trees is also provided so that new addresses may be added to the search trees and addresses may be deleted from the search trees. The search trees are developed by partitioning the addresses into bit groups.
