Abstract: A system and method for aligning and testing a communication device during production speeds up the overall production testing and thus shortens the testing time. The system comprises a measuring unit, RF switch, power supply and test bed comprising several modular test places, and is synchronized to perform test procedures with a minimum amount of control information transfer between the device under test and the test system. This is achieved by using low level and real time control operations, and configuring the test hardware to be only a little bit better and a little bit faster than the device under test itself.
