  • Patent number: 5536151
Abstract: The invention covers a device for the pneumatic delivery of concrete that is hydromechanically transported in an enclosed stream (2) with a concrete pump (1) for the hydromechanical transport, and a solidification accelerator dosing device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 16, 1993
Date of Patent: July 16, 1996
    Assignee: Friedrich Wilh. Schwing GmbH
    Inventor: Karl-Ernst von Eckardstein
  • Patent number: 5224654
Abstract: An apparatus for pneumatically discharging a liquified building material includes a first source of liquid hardener and injection means for injecting the liquid hardener perpendicularly into the air-entrained building material at the discharge nozzle. The liquid hardener may be supplied through an atomizer and injected through openings that are enlarged. A second source of liquid hardener may be provided to supply a second hardener mixed with the airstream that entrains the building material. A flexible tubing may be provided between the aeration fitting and discharge nozzle to require that only the discharge nozzle be lifted by the operator.

  • Patent number: 5066203
Abstract: In an apparatus for pneumatically discharging concrete fed hydromechanically in a dense stream, using for the hydromechanical feed a concrete pump having a hydraulic drive comprising at least two cylinders with opposed pistons, said pump having synchronization control by a displacer circuit conducting the working medium displaced by a piston, and having a dosing means for an additive serving as an accelerating agent, whose drive is connected to the hydraulic circuit of the concrete pump drive, the inventive proposal is that the drive of the dosing means is connected to the displacer circuit and designed as a reciprocating piston drive whose absorption amount corresponds to the displacement amount of the working pistons and is added in both directions to the displacement amount of each working piston.

  • Patent number: 4708288
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for pneumatically discharging hydromechanically conveyed hydraulic building material for underground operations, in which compressed air is supplied to the wet building material, pumped in a dense stream, in front of a mouth piece serving the discharge thereof and having in particular a nozzle shape, the compressed air being gunned out together with the building material, the invention provides for the dense stream of the pumped building material to be supplied to the compressed air supplied in a stream, sealed off from the outside air by the wet building material, and thereby be distributed in the compressed air stream and conveyed with the latter to the mouth piece to be discharged therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4280771
Abstract: An apparatus for distributing concrete, especially in the shuttering of gallery linings in mining and tunnel workings, comprises a transportable distribution mast carrying an articulated conduit for conveying concrete which is pivoted on a column which can rotate around its axis. The mast comprises a swivel extension forming the end section thereof, and a main boom which connects the column to the swivel extension, the swivel extension being foldable from above onto the main boom. The main boom is divided into several mast sections joined together by power-operated pivotal connections so that the mast is articulatable in a swivel plane containing the column axis, the range of relative pivotal movement between the mast sections being such that the main boom may be extended upwardly and forwardly from the folded position of the mast sections, with the swivel extension in its folded position, the power-operated pivotal connections of the main boom being disposed below the folded swivel extension.
