Abstract: A new bath composition for processing photographic materials with at least one silver halide layer is provided in which discolorations caused by Fe III-bleaching agents are prevented by an after-treatment bath comprising phosphoric acid or a phosphonic acid as hereinafter described.

Abstract: A photographic reversal process is provided in which the photographic material is treated with a potential fogging agent in the preliminary bath preceding the color development bath in such a manner as to obviate the disadvantages of known chemical fogging agents.

Abstract: Apparatus is provided for automatically dispensing CO.sub.2 snow on articles moved by a conveyer underneath a snow storage container-dispenser outlet opening. The dispensing is controlled by a motor driven segmented drum with brush-like elastic blades closing the dispenser outlet opening actuated when an article is moved into place thereunder. The snow is generated from liquid CO.sub.2 flowing through cooling coils in the snow and dispensed through a nozzle in the upper portion of the container in response to capacity sensing means such as a photocell level detector to thereby keep the container snow level constant.

Abstract: A color developer composition is provided which has substantially improved protection against oxidation of the color developer and excellent sequestering properties characterized in that the composition comprises an .alpha.-aminocarbonyl compound, an organo-phosphonic acid and an aminocarboxylic acid.

Abstract: An aqueous alkaline developer mixture for preparing color photographic images containing a color developer of the p-phenylenediamine series a hydroxylamine compound and a hydroxyalkylidenediphosphonic acid or a water soluble salt of the said acid and at least a compound of the aminopolyphosphonic acid or of the aminopolycarboxylic acid series with improved resistance to oxidation and resistance to the formation of chalk deposits and high stability in storage.
