    Abstract: The compression type refrigerating device having a compressor defining a pressure space and being driven by an asynchronous motor comprises a pressure sensitive switch arranged in a sealed housing communicating with the pressure space of the compressor and connecting in response to a predetermined pressure level in the housing an additional field coil in series with a main field coil of stator of the electromotor. In this manner the efficiency of the intermittently operating asynchronous driving motor is improved.
