Abstract: A medical patch material has a support coated with an even and porous spread of pressure sensitive hot-melt adhesive coating, formed by means of gravure printing, has a sufficient porosity and a resulting vapor permeability to skin moisture on the one hand, as well as an absolute bacteria-impermeability and reliable adherence of the patch material on the other hand. This is achieved by the fact that the pressure sensitive hot-melt adhesive spread:a) forms coherent webs in the lengthwise and transverse direction, which include island-shaped adhesive-free areas;b) that the proportion of the adhesive-free areas amounts to between 30 and 60%, preferably between 40 and 57% of the total surface, andc) that the coat weight of the adhesive amounts to between 30 and 160 g/m.sup.2, preferably between 40 and 120 g/m.sup.2.

Abstract: The invention is related to a foil- or film-like bandage consisting of a transparent continuous bandage foil which on the one side is covered with a transparent supporting foil and on the other side is provided with an adhesive layer and a removable cover layer thereupon, the supporting foil extending over said transparent continuous bandage foil at opposite edges and the cover layer having the same size as the adhesive layer, said cover layer having particularly formed preset cuts or preset breaking lines between two points at different edges, preferably opposite edges such that the cover layer is partitioned into two parts and, upon bending of the foil- or film-like bandage, there is produced an auxiliary pull-off means in the cover layer for the same.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a flat laminate part consisting of a substrate layer and a cover layer having an auxiliary pull-off means to so pull-off said cover layer or parts of said cover layer said auxiliary pull-off means comprising a preset cut or cuts or a preset breaking line or lines in said cover layer, said auxiliary pull-off means being improved by having a stiffened area in the surrounding of the preset cuts or preset breaking lines in order to facilitate the producing of the grasp parts for pulling off said cover layer or parts of said cover layer.
