  • Patent number: 9821634
Abstract: In a motor lock determination device (1), a lock determination on an electric motor (7) is performed such that: a first detection value (PI), which is a detection value (P) of a refrigerant pressure sensor (17) during a stop of an electric fan (5), is detected, and a second detection value (P2), which is a detection value (P) of the refrigerant pressure sensor (17) after the electric fan (5) is driven for a first predetermined time (?), is detected; when the second detection value (P2) is equal to the first detection value (PI) or more than the first detection value (PI), it is determined that a motor lock occurs; and when the second detection value (P2) is less than the first detection value (PI), it is determined that no motor lock occurs.

  • Publication number: 20100252357
Abstract: Provided is a sound insulation structure of an internal combustion engine capable of preventing propagation of a sound generated by an injector into an interior of a vehicle. The sound insulation structure of the internal combustion engine includes a V-type cylinder block having a right bank and a left bank; a right bank intake pipe supplying a gas to the right bank; a left bank intake pipe supplying the gas to the left bank and intersecting the right bank intake pipe; in-cylinder injection injectors arranged in a surrounded space surrounded by the right and left banks and the intake pipes; and a sound insulation member arranged in the surrounded space between the in-cylinder injection injectors and an intersection region.

  • Patent number: 4798177
Abstract: A cooling fan for an internal combustion engine hydraulically driven by a flow of propellant hydraulic fluid is controlled of its rotational speed by a system which includes a device for sensing a value representing the operating temperature of the engine, a device for sensing the operating temperature of the propellant hydraulic fluid, and a device for controlling the flow of the propellant hydraulic fluid, so as to increase the flow rate of the propellant hydraulic fluid when the operating temperature of the engine increases and also when the operating temperature of the propellant hydraulic fluid increases.

  • Patent number: 4794883
Abstract: In an automotive vehicle wherein the cooling fan for the internal combustion engine is driven hydraulically by a flow of a first propellant hydraulic fluid, while the power steering device for the steering system is driven hydraulically by a flow of a second propellant hydraulic fluid, reservoirs for storing the first and second propellant hydraulic fluids are provided as first and second tank portions, respectively, of a common reservoir tank, so that the first propellant hydraulic fluid which is more apt to be heated up by friction loss is cooled down by the second propellant hydraulic fluid which remains at ambient temperature as effectively cooled through the power steering fluid circulation system.
