  • Publication number: 20190100370
Abstract: A configurable container is provided that has an interior surface configured to secure one or more rigid or flexible dividers and to allow for reconfigurable interior compartments of the container. The dividers may also include an integrated material such as a gel that can be heated or cooled in order to maintain a desired temperature within the container. The container may include a lid that engages the top surfaces of the dividers to establish a plurality of substantially sealed compartments within the container.

  • Publication number: 20170021244
Abstract: An improved head for attachment to a lacrosse stick is provided. The head has a bar-shaped string attachment feature on a pocket-facing side of the transverse wall (or “scoop”) 212 joining the sidewalls at the distal end of head 204 to provide a protected area for the attachment of vertically-oriented strings and/or shooting strings forming the lacrosse stick pocket. The string attachment feature provides the additional advantage of negating the necessity for through-holes in scoop 212 that typically weaken what is already a vulnerable portion of head 204 due to its likelihood of receiving repeated impacts with the playing surface or other equipment during play. The improved string attachment member further advantageously provides more “give”, or flexibility, to the pocket strung thereon.

  • Publication number: 20160317899
Abstract: An upper body protector that provides a comfortable fit for a player of virtually any shape or size, yet provides a secure fit to prevent shifting or sliding of the padding in the protector during game play or other player movement. The upper body protector comprises a garment capable of being worn around the neck and over the shoulders of said wearer and having an opening therein to accommodate the neck of said wearer, and having an improved strap mechanism comprising a set of straps attached to a back portion of the upper body protector that are fed through a pair of grommets on the front side of the upper body protector and folded back over themselves for attachment to the front portion of the upper body protector via a fastening means, such as Velcro®. The combination of the unique grommets at either end of the strap attachment mechanism and strap shape provide a secure, yet comfortable and adjustable fit to the wearer through a full range of motion.

  • Publication number: 20160166900
Abstract: A string lock for a lacrosse stick pocket comprising a single unitary rectangular and pre-formed with a shallow end-to-end arc as well as an optional shallow side-to-side arc. A series of thong hole pairs are formed in the string lock, and a plurality of open notches extend in a radial array from one side of the plate member, each notch creating a channel running from the side of the plate member into one of the corresponding lower thong holes. The particular dimensions and material of the string lock combine with its arched configuration and elasticity to securely lock each thong in place when threaded through a pair of upper and lower thong holes. However, each thong can be readily adjusted simply by disengaging it from the lower thong hole, removing it therefrom via the radial notch, re-tensioning, and reinserting it back into the lower thong hole via radial notch.

  • Publication number: 20150190691
Abstract: A unitary pocket for a lacrosse head having two or more panels formed in lattice patterns, joined together lengthwise, and secured within the head of a lacrosse stick with little or no stringing. All panels are die-cut or laser-cut from flat sheet material with a pattern of cutouts, or alternatively molded as such to provide the lattice-patterns. In a preferred embodiment, a center panel if formed with a first lattice pattern including a plurality of longitudinal thong elements joined by a plurality of lateral cross-elements. Similarly, left and right side panels are each die or laser cut with a second lattice pattern including at least one longitudinal thong element and a plurality of lateral elements. The lateral elements of the left and right side panels are affixed on one side to the sides of the lacrosse stick head. On the other side, the lateral elements of the left and right side panels are attached to the outermost thongs of the center panel.
