    Abstract: An implantable device to be implanted into a body of a patient includes a monitoring system configured to monitor biological signals of the patient, and generate corresponding waveform data. The implantable device includes a first buffer for continually storing the waveform data, a second buffer, and a controller configured to copy waveform data from the first buffer to the second buffer at regular intervals.
