  • Publication number: 20140196786
Abstract: In order to obtain a composite glass plate which shields infrared light and/or ultraviolet light, two glass substrates on which transparent conductive layers are formed respectively are disposed with the transparent conductive layers thereof facing each other. Infrared light is shielded and electric power is generated by using one glass substrate as a light incident side electrode, disposing a silicon dioxide particle layer thereon, and filling a colorless electrolyte between the two glass substrates. Further, ultraviolet light is also shielded by disposing a titanium dioxide layer on the other glass substrate. This composite glass plate is used as a window glass plate to shield only infrared light and/or ultraviolet light and transmit only visible light.

  • Patent number: 5631585
Abstract: A wave-shaping circuit comprises a dynamic hysteresis generating circuit for generating a dynamic hysteresis voltage having a certain crest value and whose signal level attenuates at a speed proportional to a number of engine revolutions to mask an ignition noise superimposed on an input signal, and a threshold generating circuit for generating a threshold voltage whose signal level increases/decreases in proportion to the number of engine revolutions to mask an interference noise superimposed on the input signal and to reliably detect a minimum level of the input signal. Either the dynamic hysteresis voltage or the threshold voltage, whichever is higher, is selectively output as a comparison reference signal through a high-level selecting circuit.

  • Patent number: 5568347
Abstract: A driving circuit for driving a given load based on a load control signal is provided which includes a power transistor, a protective circuit, and a power transistor control circuit. The power transistor is responsive to the load control signal inputted to the driving circuit to be turned on for activating the load. The protective circuit is arranged to be activated by the load control signal to monitor a malfunction of the power transistor caused by overheating or overcurrent flow to restrict an operation of the power transistor. The power transistor control circuit is arranged to prohibit the power transistor from being turned on until the load control signal reaches a preselected level required for operating the protective circuit stably.

  • Patent number: 5490483
Abstract: A two-cycle internal combustion engine is provided which comprises: a cylinder receiving a reciprocative piston and having a top portion provided with a combustion chamber in which a spark plug faces; an exhaust port laterally opening into the cylinder; at least one first scavenging port opening into the cylinder at one side of the exhaust port; and at least one second scavenging port opening into the cylinder at another side of the exhaust port opposite to said one side. Each of the first and second scavenging ports directs scavenging gas away from the exhaust port. The first scavenging port opens into the cylinder with an upward inclination for directing a first portion of the scavenging gas upwardly toward the top portion of the cylinder, whereas the second scavenging port is oriented to direct a second portion of the scavenging gas transversely of the cylinder toward a wall portion of the cylinder where the first scavenging port is formed.
