  • Publication number: 20130305181
Abstract: Through operation of a software keyboard displayed on the screen, and without creating physical protrusions or depressions, this input device enables easy and reliable key operations even without visual confirmation of the keyboard. A display portion of a touch panel displays a software keyboard having a prescribed array of keys. An input portion is attached to the display portion, and is capable of user input operations. Based on the user's touch position on the touch panel, a control portion determines if said touch position is in a specific position pre-set as the home position of the software keyboard. When the touch position is in the specific position, a notification portion notifies the user by a prescribed notification. By this means, the user can determine when he or she touches the home position while performing touch operations even without visual confirmation of the software keyboard.

  • Publication number: 20120092275
Abstract: In an information processing apparatus including an input detecting portion capable of detecting a plurality of touched positions simultaneously and a display portion, while a plurality of candidate images to serve as candidates are displayed as a list on the display portion and a touch is being detected by the input detecting portion, a selection image is selected based on a touched position. When the selection image is then being selected for a predetermined time or more, candidate images other than the selection image are changed to be displayed. It is thereby possible to provide an information processing apparatus or the like which is highly convenient for a user by changing a display state of candidates which are not in a selection state when selecting an item.

  • Publication number: 20110321125
Abstract: Provided is an authentication device and an authentication method of, even in the case of selecting correct images for authentication from among the displayed images to perform authentication, making hard to be read by others and improving security, and a program for causing a computer to execute the same. A main control portion 12 selects at random one or more correct images 23 to be displayed from a correct image DB 17 within the number of images to be displayable by a display portion 14 so as to be stored in a display correct image storage portion 19. Dummy images are selected only by the number of images that are displayable by the display portion 14 from a dummy image DB 18. The main control portion 12 lists and displays the selected display images on the display portion 14. The main control portion 12 changes a display number and display arrangement of correct images and dummy images so as to be differentiated from those in previous authentication.
