Patent number: 10003532Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a receiver, a memory, a processor, and a transmitter. The receiver receives a route information frame and a first frame that is not the route information frame. The memory holds a route information table. The route information table records route information included in the route information frame. When the route information table does not include the source address of the first frame, the processor associates the source address with the address of a transfer-source apparatus that has transferred the first frame to the receiver, and registers these addresses in a registration table. In order to transmit a second frame addressed to a destination apparatus that is not recorded in the route information table, the processor obtains the address of a transfer-source apparatus registered in association with the address of the destination apparatus. The transmitter transmits the second frame to the address obtained by the processor.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2013Date of Patent: June 19, 2018Assignee: FUJITSU LIMITEDInventors: Yayoi Nomura, Katsuhiko Yamatsu, Kenji Yamada, Yuichi Inao, Syunsuke Koga

Patent number: 9485705Abstract: A node transmits data based on a routing information table when receiving the data. The node determines whether a second candidate neighboring node of which flag information is true and to which the data has not yet been transmitted is present when the data transmission to a first candidate neighboring node fails. The node aborts retransmission of the data when no second candidate neighboring node of which the flag information is true and to which the data has not yet been transmitted is present.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2014Date of Patent: November 1, 2016Assignee: FUJITSU LIMITEDInventors: Tatsuya Soneda, Koki Mie, Katsuhiko Yamatsu, Yuji Higashihara

Patent number: 8873404Abstract: Anode device includes a transmitter and a processor. The transmitter transmits an inspection frame used in inspecting a status of a route from a source node device to a destination node device. The processor generates a first inspection frame and selects a first node device to which the transmitter transmits the first inspection frame from among candidates for a node device to which a frame addressed to the destination node device is to be forwarded. The processor judges whether a transmission of the first inspection frame has been successfully performed. When the transmission of the first inspection frame has failed, the processor generates a second inspection frame which records a failure in a communication with the first node device. The processor selects a second node device to which the transmitter transmits the second inspection frame from among the candidates.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2014Date of Patent: October 28, 2014Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Koki Mie, Katsuhiko Yamatsu, Yuji Higashihara, Masahiro Hayashi, Yuichi Inao

Publication number: 20140133292Abstract: A first node device transmits a first path information frame including first path information that associates a destination node device with a first forwarding destination to which the first node device forwards a data frame destined for the destination node device. A second node device other than the first node device receives the first path information frame. The second node device determines whether a forwarding path includes a loop. The forwarding path is a path from the second node device to the destination node device via the first node device and the first forwarding destination. The second node device stores the first path information upon determining that the forwarding path does not include a loop. The second node device forwards a data frame destined for the destination node device to the first node device on the basis of the first path information.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 17, 2013Publication date: May 15, 2014Applicant: FUJITSU LIMITEDInventors: Katsuhiko Yamatsu, Koki Mie, Yuji Higashihara, Tatsuya Soneda

Patent number: 7796618Abstract: A communication device having a plurality of processor units is disclosed. Each processor unit has a buffer for buffering packets, a receiving processor, and a transmitting processor. Upon receipt of a reception token, the receiving processor receives packets from the outside. Then, if the buffer is empty, the receiving processor buffers the received packets in the buffer. If the buffer is not empty, the receiving processor discards the received packets, increments the number of discarded packets, and passes the reception token to another processor unit for circulation. Upon receipt of a transmission token, the transmitting processor transmits the packets in the buffer to the outside based on the number of discarded packets.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2005Date of Patent: September 14, 2010Assignee: Fujitsu Semiconductor LimitedInventors: Katsuhiko Yamatsu, Nobuhiko Eguchi
