  • Patent number: 7936100
Abstract: The stator includes a plurality of concentrated winding coils disposed coupled into an annular form through yokes, and a plurality of conductors that couple the coil ends of the concentrated winding coils to each other in a multi-phase connection fashion. Conductors for a U-phase, a V-phase, a W-phase, and neutral points P are each formed of a plurality of holes for inserting therethrough coil ends and are substantially circular with different diameters, and are disposed on the same plane. A connection plate provided with a wall is inserted between the conductors and the concentrated winding coils. A rotating machine includes the above-mentioned stator and a rotor that is rotatable within the stator.

  • Publication number: 20090224623
Abstract: An electric rotating machine includes a stator, a rotor inserted in a bore of the stator such that an air gap is formed between the stator and the rotor, and a plurality of permanent magnets embedded in a peripheral portion of the rotor core of the rotor in a circumferential arrangement. Slits are formed in portions of the rotor core each extending between the adjacent magnetic poles. Compressive stress is induced in portions of the rotor core each extending between the slit and the permanent magnet when stress is induced in the portion of the stator core extending between the slit and the permanent magnet by centrifugal force produced when the rotor rotates and acting on the permanent magnet and a pole piece covering the permanent magnet.

  • Publication number: 20090184591
Abstract: A rotating electrical machine includes: a stator that including a stator core and a teeth section, with a stator coil wound at the teeth section; a rotor arranged via a clearance at an inner periphery side of the stator and supported in a freely rotating manner; and a distribution unit supported by a resin holder, and including a conductor connected to the stator coil. The rotating electrical machine is cooled by coolant. The stator coil includes a coil end section projecting from an end of the stator in an axial direction. A gap is formed between an end of the stator core and a lower surface of the distribution unit by mounting the distribution unit on an upper part of the coil end section. The gap constitutes a path for the coolant.

  • Publication number: 20080265701
Abstract: The power distribution unit for a rotary electric machine includes a connecting ring unit that connects stator coils of the same phase. The connecting ring unit includes at least one linear conductor integrally formed in a ring-like shape, and the connecting ring unit includes a terminal section integrally formed in the linear conductor. The terminal section is constituted by a hole through which a wiring end of the stator coil is inserted and a protrusion formed in a direction of the hole to which the wiring end of the stator coil is connected. Also disclosed are a rotary electric machine includes the power distribution unit and a method for assembling a rotary electric machine.
