The image synthesis unit synthesizes a region with a large amount of blurriness in image data of a current frame and a region with a small amount of blurriness in image data of a preceding frame obtained before the image data of the current frame, among the plurality of image data obtained by the imaging element by the plurality of times of image capturing during the drive of the focus lens. The display displays an image synthesized by the image synthesis unit.
