  • Patent number: 10065233
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a cap, which can insert a sheet member easily into a predetermined position of an upper part inside a cap body, without causing deformation to the sheet member or the cap body. The sheet member does not separate when a container is brought to reduced pressure. An annular protruding portion protruding on a lower surface side is formed in an annular flat region of a sheet member of an inside plug. After or at the same time that the sheet member is inserted into and installed at a predetermined position within a cap body, the annular protruding portion is pressed axially toward a top panel wall and deformed so as to become close to a flat shape, to enlarge the outer diameter of the sheet member. The inside plug is thereby held to be inseparable from inside a skirt wall and to be axially movable.

  • Patent number: 9969537
Abstract: An easily openable container lid has a shell and a liner embossed on the inner surface of a top panel wall and a pair of scores formed in the shell. The liner is adhered over the entire surface thereof to the inner surface of the top panel wall. At least second portions of the pair of scores are formed by forming grooves on the inner surface side of the shell, and are extended along the peripheral edge of the liner radially outwardly of the liner. Moreover, the liner has a thin-walled central section and a thick-walled peripheral edge section, and is configured to have a downwardly protruding outer sealing ridge formed in a radially outward region of the thick-walled peripheral edge section. The thickness of the thin-walled central section and the thickness of the thick-walled peripheral edge section are set within required ranges.

  • Publication number: 20170036825
Abstract: Provided is an airtight container for positive pressure beverage that has a cap which is able to improve airtightness. The airtight container for beverage is provided with a beverage container and a cap. The beverage container has a body portion and a flange. The flange is continuous with an upper portion of the body portion and defines an orifice. The cap is attached to the beverage container so as to seal the orifice. The cap has a liner and an exterior body. The liner has a thin liner portion for sealing a lower side portion of the flange and a thick liner portion for sealing an upper side portion of the flange. The exterior body is fixed to the flange so as to cover the liner from an outer side, in order to seal the orifice together with the liner. The exterior body presses the thin liner portion against the lower side portion of the flange and brings the thin liner portion in close contact therewith.

  • Patent number: 8167161
Abstract: A metallic container closure comprising a shell of a thin metal sheet having a circular top panel wall 7 and a skirt wall 9, and a synthetic resin liner arranged in the shell, the skirt wall 9 having a thread-forming region and an annular groove 17 positioned at an upper end portion of the thread-forming region, wherein an internal pressure release line A extending in the circumferential direction is arranged in the skirt wall 9 at a portion over the annular groove 17, and annular bead 30 is arranged so as to pass through between the internal pressure release line A and the annular groove 17. The metallic container closure effectively releases the gas when the pressure in the container is elevated and effectively prevents the skirt wall from being deformed at a portion where the internal pressure release line A is formed when it is being wrap-seamed with the mouth-and-neck portion of the container.
