Abstract: A light-scattering film is provided and includes a transparent support having thereon at least a light-scattering layer. When substantially parallel light is incident on a surface of the film at an incident angle of 5°, the reflectance for an angle ? in the light-receiving part measured in a plane containing the film normal line and the incident direction is R(?), the value obtained by normalizing R(?) by the reflectance of regular reflection is Rrel(?), and the value calculated from the maximum variation |dRrel(?)/d?|max for the angle ? is a scattering coefficient A (formula 1), the reflection coefficient B (formula 2) calculated from the scattering coefficient A and the 5° specular reflectance Rs is from 2.0 to 5.0. Scattering coefficient A=1/(10×|dRrel(?)/d?|max)??(Formula 1) Reflection coefficient B=2.2×log 10(Rs)?7.5×log 10(A)+5.

  • Publication number: 20020091961
Abstract: A microcomputer includes an external pulse signal capturing section and a clock switching software section. The external pulse signal capturing section, operating in synchronization with a low frequency operation clock signal, captures an external pulse signal such as a remote control signal. The clock switching software section decodes the data portion of the input pulse signal obtained by the external pulse signal capturing section, and switches the operation clock signal from a low frequency operation clock signal to a high frequency operation clock signal when the decoded result is a power-on instruction. The microcomputer can solve a problem of a conventional microcomputer in that it can sometimes misidentify noise input to its remote control terminal as a remote control signal, and hence switches the operation clock signal from a low frequency sub-clock signal in an idle mode to a high frequency main clock signal in a normal operation mode, thereby impairing effective power saving.

  • Patent number: 6080199
Abstract: Amplitude of transmission error of tooth pair of a gear is obtained in relation to actual contact ratio (.epsilon..sub.r) which is an angular range (.theta..sub.r) of actual contact of the surfaces of the tooth pair divided by an angular pitch (.theta..sub.p) of the gear. The specifications and/or tooth surface modification of the gear is/are are determined so as to reduce the transmission error amplitude under non-load condition in which the actual contact ratio (.epsilon..sub.r) is 1.0. Alternatively, the specifications and/or tooth surface modifications is/are determined so as to increase an effective contact ratio (.epsilon..sub.n) which is an angular range (.theta..sub.n) divided by the angular pitch (.theta..sub.p), the angular range (.theta..sub.n) corresponding to a portion of a path of the tooth contact point in which an edge contact of the tooth pair does not take place at the tooth top or at the ends of the face width of the teeth.

  • Patent number: 5893130
Abstract: When a type of a target document is selected by an input unit from selection items displayed in a window of a display device based upon a type table, a word group of an image corresponding to the type of the document is displayed based upon an image table. When a word of the target image is selected from the word group, a color arrangement and a typeface corresponding to the image are determined based upon an image color arrangement conversion table. As a result, target color representation can be automatically displayed by an easy operation which does not require special technique and knowledge.

  • Patent number: 5725248
Abstract: A webbing height adjuster of the invention is formed of a movable member disposed on a guide rail on a vehicle to be slidable in the longitudinal direction; a lock pin disposed on the movable member to be movable in a direction of engaging and slipping off one of engaging portions of the guide rail; a control member slidably mounted on the movable member and having a pair of side walls to sandwich the lock pin; and a driven pin mounted on the lock pin to form a T-shape. Each of the side walls has a notching groove which opens in a direction of slipping of the lock pin from one of the engaging portions, and a cam face formed in the notching groove and engaging the driven pin. The control member controls the movement of the lock pin in the direction of engaging and slipping off by sliding relative to the movable member. The driven pin with the lock pin can be easily assembled with the movable member.

  • Patent number: 5280669
Abstract: When the connection of the buckle main body A with the tongue is to be released during normal operation, the operating member is operated and is moved to the position where the engagement of the tongue with the latch member can be released. In this case, the locking member can be moved toward the position where the engagement of the tongue with the latch member can be released, and the locking member is perfectly moved to the position where the engagement of the tongue with the latch member can be released by the operating member. When impact is applied on the buckle unit, control device prevents the locking member from moving toward the position where the engagement of the tongue with the latch member can be released. For this reason, the engagement of the tongue with the latch member cannot be released, and the connection of the buckle main body with the tongue can be maintained.
