  • Publication number: 20050008519
Abstract: The outer peripheral surface of a swing piston (28) is formed in a non-circular form. The inner peripheral surface of a cylinder chamber (25) is formed on a basis of an envelope curve of the outer peripheral surface of the swing piston (28) obtained at the time of its swing. The outer peripheral surface of the swing piston (28) and the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder chamber (25) are formed in, e.g., an ovoid shape so that as compared to the case in which such inner and outer peripheral surfaces are formed in a circular form, a shorter compression cycle and a longer discharge cycle can be obtained at the time of swing of the swing piston (28). As a result, an overcompression loss when a refrigerant is discharged in a swing compressor can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20040265159
Abstract: An adjusting mechanism is provided to produce an anti-overturning moment to reduce an overturning moment acting on an orbiting scroll during its revolution in a revolving-angle area in which the overturning moment becomes a at least a certain value. Accordingly, revolution movement of the orbiting scroll can be made stable by changing a pressing force of the orbiting scroll against the fixed scroll according to fluctuation of the overturning moment due to the revolution of the orbiting scroll, thereby improving the compression efficiency of a scroll-type compressor.

  • Publication number: 20040156734
Abstract: A lubrication path (50) to press-contact surfaces of a fixed and orbiting scrolls (21, 22) serves also as a high-level pressure introduction passageway when a difference between a high-level pressure and a low-level pressure is great. On the other hand, when the high-level pressure introduction passageway is blocked off in a state in which the high-low pressure difference is small, refrigerating machine oil is supplied to the press-contact surfaces through a low-level pressure space (S1) within the casing, for controlling the pressing force of the orbiting scroll (22) against the fixed scroll (21), and the construction for preventing a decrease in efficiency is simplified, thereby not only reducing the cost but also preventing the occurrence of a maloperation.

  • Patent number: 6580415
Abstract: The present invention relates to an input device capable of detecting an acceleration, in which a detecting section constituted by a combination of a weight, a coiled spring, and detecting means is supported by a support. The support is fixed to a tip end within a case of the input device. By applying a force having a predetermined or higher acceleration in W direction with a grip part of the input device as fulcrum, thereby causing the input device to rotate, the weight is moved by the resulting centrifugal force in a direction in which the coiled spring is compressed, and an electric signal outputted from the detecting means varies according to the amount of the movement of the weight. By detecting this variation it is possible to detect an acceleration upon rotation of the input device.

  • Publication number: 20030030628
Abstract: An input apparatus includes a flat input device of a pressure-sensitive type or a capacitive type, and an indicator sheet on which indication marks are formed is fixed on the surface of the flat input device. A tactile-feel-generating unit is provided behind the flat input device. The tactile-feel-generating unit includes dome-shaped inversion plates which are disposed at positions corresponding to the indication marks. When one of the indication marks is pressed setting an input mode, an operation signal is generated in accordance with an item represented by the indication mark, and a tactile feel is generated by a reaction force of the corresponding inversion plate. When an indication mark is touched, while in an input mode, the control unit recognizes the resulting signal to be a coordinate data signal.
