  • Patent number: 7098629
Abstract: A generator apparatus can provide generated power fit for a connected battery, and even if a load voltage is not within a suitable range, when the load voltage is a certain level or more, the generator can provide power. A selector 25 selects a target voltage for controlling the output voltage of a rectifier 2. An output controller 34 controls the rectifier 2 according to the target. A load judgment section 35 judges the terminal voltage of a battery 19. When the terminal voltage is within an allowable range with respect to the target value, permission for output is given to the output controller 34. When the load voltage is not within the allowable range, an alarm is raised. Even when the alarm is raised, if a load voltage develops which is not less than a predetermined voltage lower than the allowable range, the battery 19 can be charged by forced-output.

  • Patent number: 6028369
Abstract: A compact engine-operated generator unit in which only one centrifugal fan for cooling is provided to restrain generation and leakage of operation noise, while an engine and a generator are still cooled efficiently. Particularly, the engine-operated generator unit comprises an engine and a generator driven by the engine arranged in a direction of a rotary shaft, and soundproof case housing the engine, the generator and other components therein, the generator includes an outer-rotor; a centrifugal fan provided on an end surface the outer-rotor of the generator remote from the engine; a duct covering the centrifugal fan, the generator and the engine and having a suction opening at a side facing the centrifugal fan; a discharge operating on a downstream side of the duct facing an exterior of the soundproof case; and a circulation space provided between the generator and the engine for introducing a part of cooling air flowing toward the engine into the generator to circulate again back to the centrifugal fan.

  • Patent number: 5617537
Abstract: In a multiprocessor system, each processor module comprises a processor, a distributed shared memory, a distributed memory coupler for controlling copying between distributed shared memories and a distributed memory protector for protecting said distributed shared memory against illegal access. The distributed shared memories are assigned global addresses common to all the processor modules, and the distributed shared memory of each processor module has its addresses shared with the distributed shared memory of each processor module which is the destinatiion of data transfer. Message buffers and message control areas on the distributed shared memory are divided into areas specified by a combination of sending and receiving processor modules. A processing request area on the distributed shared memory is divided corresponding to each receiving processor module and arranged accordingly. The processing request area on the receiver's side distributed shared memory has a FIFO structure.
