  • Publication number: 20210196226
Abstract: There is provided a wheeze detection apparatus including: a sound measurer configured to measure a pulmonary sound of a measurement subject; a respiratory sound volume deriver configured to derive a respiratory sound volume of the measurement subject based on the sound measured by the sound measurer; and a wheeze detector configured to extract a maximum point from an intensity distribution for each frequency of the sound and to detect wheeze based on information on the maximum point. The wheeze detector sets, in a case where the respiratory sound volume is outside a predetermined range, detection sensitivity of the wheeze to a higher value than the detection sensitivity in a case where the respiratory sound volume is within the range.

  • Patent number: 7781906
Abstract: A drive of a steering-lock actuator is controlled such that a lock member takes a steering lock state from a steering unlock state if there occurs a change in the state of a vehicle door detected by a door-state detecting device and a stop state of the vehicle is detected by a vehicle-stop-state detecting device when an ignition switch is in an OFF state (step S7). A power supply to the vehicle-stop-state detecting device is made stop if the ignition switch is turned to the OFF state from an ON state (step S2), and the power supply to the vehicle-stop-state detecting device resumes if there occurs the change in the state of the vehicle door detected by the door-state detecting device when the ignition switch is in the OFF state (step S4).

  • Patent number: 6414941
Abstract: A communication frame has a counter value which is updated each time the communication frame passes through a node, and a source address. Therefore, upon receiving the communication frame, the node references a source address to check to see if the communication frame was generated by the node, that is, if the communication frame is a returned frame. In addition, even when the node finds that the received communication frame is not the communication frame generated by this node, the node checks counter value information in the communication frame to check to see if the communication frame has already circulated around the network, that is, if the communication frame is abnormal. Furthermore, because the counter value information is provided in each communication frame, the present invention is compatible with a system where a plurality of communication frames are on a network at the same time.

  • Patent number: 6253335
Abstract: A network abnormality recovery method and system capable of recovering the normal state of a network communication function as soon as possible even if the network communication function is impaired. When it is determined that a network communication function is impaired because a broken line occurs on a main data transmission line or an abnormal condition occurs in a communication IC, a CPU of a station unit transmits network maintaining information required for maintaining the network communication function to another CPU of a master station unit over a sub data transmission line provided separately from the main data transmission line, thereby recovering the normal state of the network communication function as soon as possible.

  • Patent number: 6199174
Abstract: An abnormality recovery system in a network comprising a plurality of station units connected by a ring-like data transmission line enabling circular transmission of communication data in digital form in a single direction. In the system, when it is determined that an abnormality occurs in a communication IC, a CPU performs switch control to switch a communication data route so as to bypass the communication IC and send communication data on a bypass from an optical receiver to an optical transmitter.

  • Patent number: 6040760
Abstract: Multiple pieces of equipment installed in a vehicle are freely installed and removed to equipment connection slots. A bus line interconnects the multiple pieces of electrical equipment installed in the equipment connection slots. Multiple operating switches arranged in a single unit on an operating section are provided in correspondence to the multiple pieces of electrical equipment for producing control signals to control each of the multiple pieces of electrical equipment. When any one of the operating switches is manipulated, a head unit controls, via the bus line, the electrical equipment corresponding to the manipulated operating switch.

  • Patent number: 5481335
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a device for setting the apparatus in a check mode to check a state of the apparatus and for selectively executing one of a plurality of check operations. In one aspect, each check operation is set using a commonly provided numeral key, and the check mode is unconditionally released using a clear key. In another aspect, one of the check modes includes a test movement of a movable member used in image formation. In still other aspects, sheet transporting operations are controlled based on the location of a sheet jam, or based on the selection of a sheet sorter.
