  • Publication number: 20170153653
Abstract: A pressure reduction valve includes: a housing; an inlet and an outlet provided in the housing; a piston movable in the housing; a rod extending from the piston toward the inlet; a rod sliding part where the rod slides in the housing; a valve element provided in the rod; a valve seat to be seated with the valve element; a valve chamber formed around the valve element downstream the valve seat; a pressure control chamber provided between the piston and the housing downstream of the piston to communicate with the outlet; a passage formed in the rod and the piston; a spring to urge the piston and the rod to separate the valve element from the valve seat; and a sealing member provided in the rod sliding part. A wear ring is provided upstream of the seal member to narrow a clearance between the rod sliding part and the housing.

  • Publication number: 20160281871
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve includes a valve element placed in a valve chamber, a piston placed in a pressure regulating chamber, a valve seat that partitions between the valve chamber and the pressure regulating chamber, and a valve spring that urges the valve element toward the valve seat. The piston is placed in a position toward which the valve spring urges the valve element. The pressure regulating valve further includes a terminal block provided with the valve chamber and a body member provided with the pressure regulating chamber. The valve seat is held in close contact relation between the terminal block and the body member.

  • Publication number: 20160281872
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve includes a piston in a pressure regulating chamber, a valve element axially movable together with the piston, a valve chamber in which an end portion of the valve element is placed, a resinous valve seat which the valve element is brought into contact with or separated from, a coil spring urging the piston in a direction to move the valve element away from the valve seat, and a body member accommodating the valve element and the valve seat. The valve element has an axially extending hollow cylindrical shape. When moved away from the valve seat, the valve element allows communication between the valve chamber and the pressure regulating chamber. The valve seat is arranged to be axially movable. An adjusting screw is provided to move the valve seat for adjusting a contact position with the valve element from outside.

  • Patent number: 9454159
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve includes a device body and an actuator. The device body includes a valve seat member, a valve, which is capable of closing the first opening of the valve seat member, an urging member, which urges the valve toward the valve seat member, a piston arranged opposite to the valve across the valve seat member, an actuator, which adjusts the position of the piston, and a protrusion provided on at least one of the piston and the valve. When the tip end of the protrusion comes into contact with the piston or the valve, the second opening of the second fluid passage is closed. When the tip end of the protrusion is not in contact with any of the piston and the valve and the second opening is opened, the second fluid passage is in communication with the pressure regulation chamber.

  • Publication number: 20150253783
Abstract: A pressure reducing valve includes a diaphragm substrate, a piezo-electric device, and a valve seat. The diaphragm substrate is arranged in a pressure regulating chamber into which CNG flows through an inflow passage. When the piezo-electric device is driven, the diaphragm substrate is deformed. The diaphragm substrate is seated on the valve seat. A portion of the valve seat that faces the diaphragm substrate is formed of an elastic material, and has elastic force greater than that of the diaphragm substrate.
