  • Patent number: 4002682
Abstract: Enaminosulfoxides of the formula, ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is alkyl, dialkoxyalkyl, phenylalkyl, phenyl, halophenyl, alkylphenyl, alkoxyphenyl or dialkoxyphenyl groups, said alkyl and alkoxy each containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and each R.sup.2 is independently alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenyl, tolyl or chlorophenyl groups, wherein at least one of the R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is aromatic. These compounds can be used to synthesize keto acid derivatives and acylamino acid esters which have well known utilities.
