  • Publication number: 20100010130
Abstract: Adsorptive ultra-fine metal particles having a bond between an organic acid component and a metal, and exhibiting an infrared absorption peak derived from the bond between the organic acid component and the metal near 1518 cm?1. The adsorptive ultra-fine metal particles are capable of exhibiting excellent deodorizing property and VOC-adsorbing property without impairing properties and formability of the resin. The invention is further concerned to an adsorptive resin composition and an adsorptive coating material containing the adsorptive ultra-fine metal particles and are capable of forming shaped resin articles or coatings.

  • Publication number: 20090011162
Abstract: A polyester resin for metal plate coating which contains a dimer acid in an amount of 2 to 10 mol %, as a dicarboxylic acid component and has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) ranging from 70,000 to 160,000. Thus, there can be provided a polyester resin for metal plate coating that has not only excellent film forming capability and corrosion resistance but also excellent impact resistance. Further, there can be provided a resin-coated metal plate excelling in properties, such as corrosion resistance, impact resistance (dent resistance), workability and flavor, and provided, fabricated from the resin-coated metal plate, a metal can and can lid.

  • Publication number: 20080241448
Abstract: A resin-coated seamless can of the present invention is a resin-coated seamless can formed of a resin-coated metal sheet 1 which is produced by coating a polyester resin layer 3 containing polyethylene terephthalate onto a surface of a metal substrate 2, wherein the density of a polyester resin layer of a can inner surface side is set to equal to or more than 1.36 at a can barrel upper portion. Further, an infrared dichroic ratio (R1) of the polyester resin layer at the inner surface side of the can barrel portion which is expressed by a following formula (1) is set to equal to or more than 1.1. R1=Iw(?)/Iw(?) . . . (1). In the formula (1), Iw(?) indicates an infrared absorption intensity of 973 cm?1 with respect to polarized infrared rays perpendicular to the can height direction at the can barrel portion, and Iw(?) indicates an infrared absorption intensity of 973 cm?1 with respect to polarized infrared rays parallel to the can height direction at the can barrel portion.

  • Patent number: 5427008
Abstract: Core materials for strings for musical instruments of a twist of two or more multifilaments composed of a vinylidene fluoride resin. The multifilament core has a diameter of 0.1 to 5 mm, an elongation of 10 to 50%, a tensile strength of at least 30 kg/mm.sup.2, a creep elongation of at most 15% and a Young's modulus of at least 200 kg/mm.sup.2. The multifilament is made of monofilaments each having a diameter of 1 to 300 .mu.m, a dispersion diameter of at most 20%/m, a specific gravity of at least 1.6, an inherent viscosity of 0.85 to 1.6 dl/g, an apparent viscosity of 12,000 to 100,000 poise and a birefringence of 30.times.10.sup.-3. Strings for violins, cellos and the like are made by tightly wrapping the core with a metal string.
