Abstract: A bag-making and packaging apparatus, for forming a bag containing a packaged article from a conveyed packaging material, is disclosed. The apparatus includes a printing part, first and second receiving parts, and a retaining part. The printing part prints information on the packaging material. The first receiving part is used in a first mode to print on the packaging material during conveyance without stopping conveyance. The second receiving part is used in a second mode to print on the packaging material at a timing when conveyance of the packaging material is stopped. The retaining part retains the first receiving part or the second receiving part so that the first receiving part and the printing part face each other with the packaging material disposed therebetween in the first mode, and the second receiving part and the printing part face each other with the packaging material disposed therebetween in the second mode.

Abstract: A food-processing device includes a processor, an imaging device, an authentication part, and a management part. The food-processing device processes a food in a line in which the food is manufactured. The processor performs at least one process on the food. The imaging device captures an image of an eye of a user of the food-processing device. The authentication part authenticates the user in response to the image of the user's eye captured by the imaging device. The management part makes the process performed by the processor executable for the user authenticated by the authentication part. The authentication part authenticates the user in response to processing information of the user's iris included in the image of the user's eye.

Abstract: Key switches and an electronic device are provided, which have excellent design in which the key tops cover at least the whole of the width direction and the sides. A key switch (100) has a flat key top (110) in which adjacent key are disposed with no space therebetween, and portions of the key top (110) corresponding to keys located at the left and right ends of the key switch (100) each has a curved surface R as an end part (100a) of the key switch (100), which wraps around a side of a case and fits into a groove part (220a) of an outer frame (220). The key switch (100) includes the key top (110), a metal frame (120), and an elastic plate member supporting substrate (130), and a backside of the key top (110) is bonded to surfaces of elastic plate members (132, 133) of the elastic plate member supporting substrate (130) by silicon adhesive. The metal frame (120) is sandwiched between the key top (110) and the elastic plate member supporting substrate (130).
