  • Patent number: 9469283
Abstract: A braking apparatus 1 of a vehicle includes: a hydraulic brake device 4 that brakes the vehicle via friction in response to operation of a brake pedal; a regenerative brake device 5 that performs regenerative braking using, as an electricity generator, a motor 3 for running the vehicle; and a collision avoidance device 20 that performs automatic braking of the vehicle by controlling operation of the hydraulic brake device 4 in accordance with obstacle detection information detected by an obstacle detection device 21, to avoid collision of the vehicle with an obstacle, wherein an electric servo brake controller 10 of the collision avoidance device 20 terminates activation of the regenerative braking, if activated, before the automatic braking is started by the collision avoidance device 20.

  • Patent number: 8956266
Abstract: A vehicle driving force control device includes: a brake unit configured to generate a brake force of a vehicle; a stroke amount detecting unit configured to detect a stroke amount of a brake pedal of the vehicle; a monitoring unit configured to monitor whether generation of the brake force of the brake unit is abnormal; and a creep torque controlling unit configured to increase a reduction amount of a creep torque of the vehicle as the stroke amount increases, when the monitoring unit determines that the generation of the brake force in the brake unit is abnormal.

  • Patent number: 7734402
Abstract: A driving-force distribution control device includes a distributing mechanism, a distribution controller, an anti-skid brake system, an acceleration detector, a synthesized acceleration calculator and a control coefficient controller. The distributing mechanism is operable to variably distribute a driving force from an engine to individual drive wheels of a vehicle. The distribution controller is operable to control the distributing mechanism based on a running state of the vehicle. The acceleration detector is operable to detect a first acceleration in a front-rear direction and a second acceleration in a left-right direction of the vehicle. The synthesized acceleration calculator is operable to calculate a synthesized acceleration of the first acceleration and the second acceleration.
