  • Publication number: 20040015054
Abstract: A bending control mechanism for an endoscope includes a bending portion in an insertion portion of the endoscope. The bending portion is controlled by a bending wire extending therefrom. A pulley operates in linkage with a bending control lever through a shaft portion of the pulley. The lever is in a control portion of the endoscope. A driving wire winding groove spirals along the pulley's outer peripheral surface and extends in its peripheral direction. A driving wire winds along the groove. A connection member connects the driving wire with the bending wire. A guide member in the control portion has a slidably mounted connection member. With the most driving wire wound around the pulley, a relative position between the pulley and the guide member is such that the driving wire extends substantially in parallel to a guide surface of the guide member.

  • Publication number: 20030187328
Abstract: An endoscopic manual control knob which has a knob body proper in the form of a synthetic resin molding. The knob body is largely composed of a ring-like top plate and a peripheral side wall portion fringed along outer periphery of the top plate. The top plate is provided with an aperture to be fitted on a rotatable shaft, and a number of lever portions projecting radially outward from the outer periphery of the top plate at angularly spaced positions. The knob body has an implant block embedded in each one of the lever portions by insert molding.

  • Publication number: 20020143238
Abstract: A bending manipulation device for endoscope wherein a pair of control wires are taken up by a pulley provided in and given a rotary motion by the main control portion of the endoscope, and one of control wires extended out from the pulley corresponding to the turning operation thereof is taken up by the pulley while the other is paid out from the pulley, thereby enabling the bending manipulation to be carried out. The groove of the above pulley is formed in the shape of a spiral continuously extending in the peripheral direction of this pulley and is used in common by the above pair of control wires. One part from the one end of the groove and the other part from the other end of the groove are arranged side by side and in parallel with each other. Each of control wires is alternately taken up on the groove of the pulley corresponding to the turning direction of the pulley.

  • Patent number: 4300358
Abstract: A flat wall type refrigerated and chilled open display case having a case opened at its upper region and an air circulation duct having a cold air curtain outlet and a cold air curtain inlet provided at the upper front side and upper rear side of the case so as to oppose to each other across the opened upper region of the case. A cooler associated with a refrigerator, as well as a blower, is disposed in the air circulation passage, so that, during the chilling operation, a cold air is blown out of the cold air curtain outlet toward the cold air curtain inlet to form a cold air curtain which covers the opened upper region of the case. According to the invention, the blower disposed in the air circulation duct is reversible and the display case further comprises a defrosting air duct which opens at its one end to the ambient air and at its other end at a position confronting the cold air curtain outlet, and an ambient air blower disposed in the defrosting air duct.
