  • Patent number: 7643270
Abstract: A solid electrolytic capacitor that includes a cathode foil and solid electrolyte made of conductive polymer. This cathode foil is made by providing a nickel layer on a surface of a base material made of valve metal. This nickel layer includes a layer containing only nickel and a layer containing nickel oxide. Both large capacitance and low equivalent series resistance are achievable at the same time with this simple structure at low cost.

  • Patent number: 5958813
Abstract: The semi-insulating aluminum nitride sintered body of this invention is composed of aluminum nitride particles, electroconductive fine particles having a volume inherent resistivity value of not larger than 10.sup.2 .OMEGA..multidot.cm which are dispersed among the aluminum nitride particles and an intergranular phase formed from an oxide containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ti, Ce, Ni, Ta, Y, Er and Yb, or from Si. This sintered body has a volume inherent resistivity value of 10.sup.4 to 10.sup.11 .OMEGA..multidot.cm, and is very useful, for example, as a member for removing static electricity, or a dielectric layer of an electrostatic chuck. Since dispersions of volume inherent resistivity values are very small, a material having a volume inherent resistivity value within a certain range can be produced with good reproducibility. Accordingly, the yield is high, and the productivity is very good.

  • Patent number: 5777543
Abstract: A ceramic resistor comprising chiefly an aluminum nitride, and an electrostatic chuck using the ceramic resistor as a resistor layer. The ceramic resistor comprises chiefly an aluminum nitride crystal phase, and is doped with at least one kind of atoms selected from the group consisting of elements of the Groups 2b, 4b and 6b of periodic table, and exhibits a volume resistivity of not larger than 10.sup.14 .OMEGA.-cm at 25.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5572336
Abstract: An image data processing apparatus for dividing one page of image data into segments for high-speed image data processing. Each of the image data segments is processed by a separate compandor. The processed data is stored in an FIFO memory corresponding to each of the compandors matching the segments. The data stored in the FIFO memory is moved from there to a compressed data storage by DMA data transfer under control of a DMA data transfer controller. The DMA data transfer controller, activated beforehand by a CPU, starts transferring data upon receipt of a DMA data transfer request signal DRQ generated by a DRQ control circuit corresponding to each FIFO memory. Since the DMA data transfer controller is already operational, it executes data transfers in a very short time on receiving the DMA data transfer request signal.

  • Patent number: 5436732
Abstract: An image data processing system which divides image data of an image of one page into segmental image data and processes the segmental image data at a high speed. The image data processing system includes companders for respectively processing the segmental image data, temporary data storage units each having a small memory capacity for temporarily storing the processed data, and a coded data storage unit having a large memory capacity for storing the data supplied from the temporary data storage units in the order of data arrival.

  • Patent number: 5419110
Abstract: A method, in a spinning machine comprising a spindle portion and a nozzle portion having a first nozzle for exerting a turning air current on a fiber bundle moved out of a drafting device, comprises introducing a yarn end on the package side from the spindle portion into a second nozzle to place it in an open state, turning the yarn end around the spindle by jetting a low pressure air from the first nozzle, and supplying the drafted fiber from the nozzle portion to effect a piecing. A piecing apparatus in the spinning machine comprises device for sucking a spinning yarn wound into a package, device for reversing the package, device for guiding and cutting the sucked spinning yarn, device for transferring a spinning yarn to an outlet side of a spinning yarn of a spindle member separated from a nozzle member of a spinning section, and movable device for threading and opening on a sliver inlet side of the spindle member of the spinning yarn.
