    Abstract: To provide a three-dimensional hardness distribution measurement method with better measurement accuracy. The method is a three-dimensional hardness distribution measurement method including and repeating: cutting evenly a surface of a member to be measured; imaging the surface having been cut; and pushing an indenter for a hardness test into a plurality of points on the surface having been imaged. In the method, a cutting depth of the surface is controlled, in the cutting, to a predetermined constant amount, and indentation depths of the indenter at the plurality of points are controlled, in the pushing, to a predetermined constant amount.

The frequency of the vibration is 125 Hz or greater, the amplitude of the vibration is 0.2 mm or greater, and the primary natural frequency of the longitudinal vibration of the transmitter (120) is further on the higher side than the frequency band of the vibration from the excitation device (110).

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a separation passageway module comprising a plurality of inclined plates, at least one suction pipe, and a buoyancy regulator. The inclined plate passageways are comprised by a plurality of inclined parallel plates. The inclined plate passageways have an opening at either the lower end or the upper end. In the case of having an opening at the lower end, suspension flows into the passageways from the lower end to carry out settling separation and to thereby generate clear liquid at the upper end of the inclined plate passageways. On the other hand, in the case of having an opening at the upper end, suspension flows into the passageways from the upper end to carry out floating separation and to thereby generate clear liquid at the lower end of the inclined plate passageways. One end of the suction pipe is connected to the upper end or lower end of the inclined plate passageways for drawing the clear liquid.

Video data in the video mail are thereafter transmitted from the divisional transmission unit to the divisional reception unit by a plurality of separate operations.

The sending information processor determines the block size in which original data to be sent to the receiving information processor is to be divided and the transfer time interval at which data blocks are to be transferred, divides the original data to be sent into data blocks of the determined block size, and sends the data blocks to the receiving information processor at the determined transfer time interval. The receiving information processor receives and reconstructs the data blocks sent thereto to obtain the original data.

    Abstract: When a user of a data base desires to fetch necessary information from the data base, display the fetched information on a display unit and save a part of the data displayed on the screen of the display unit, partial data on the display screen is extracted on the basis of two kinds of tables, a character string table and a range table. The character string table is for defining a character string used as a key to search for the data on the display screen. When a character string is found on the display screen, the range table is applied to determine a data region to be extracted inclusive of this character string. The character string used as a key to search and the extracting data region which are defined in advance on the respective tables simplify the operation by the user.
