  • Patent number: 11987309
Abstract: A steering wheel device for a vehicle in which an airbag module is attached with an engagement element that engages with the steering wheel, where the engagement element is provided on the airbag module side and has an engaging part that releasably engages with an engaged part formed on the steering wheel side, the engagement elements include at least a first engagement element positioned below the center of steering and a second engagement element positioned above the center of steering with reference to the neutral position of the steering wheel, and the first engagement element is a vibration damping part having an elastic member and the second engagement element includes a second bushing made of a material having a Young's modulus greater than that of the elastic member.

  • Publication number: 20240067117
Abstract: The present invention, includes: a damper unit provided between an airbag module that acts as a damper mass for a steering wheel and the steering wheel to dampen vibrations of the steering wheel, an engagement mechanism provided in the airbag module that maintains the airbag module on the steering wheel in a relatively displaceable manner, and protecting means provided on the airbag module for stopping external forces to the engagement mechanism in a non-engaged state with the steering wheel, that may cause deformation, and thereby protecting the engagement mechanism.

  • Patent number: 8207071
Abstract: The present invention teaches a vehicular upholstery PPT-fiber fabric that is formed from a double woven fabric in which a face weaving textile design has a number of intersections, called warp up intersections where a warp yarn passes over a weft yarn, and these are more than the number of intersections, called weft up intersection, where a weft yarn passes over a warp yarn. The warp yarn is formed by twisting an intermingled yarn composed of a PPT-multi-filament yarn and a high heat shrinkable PET-multifilament yarn whose shrinkage percentage in boiling water is more than 15%. An intermingle ratio of the PPT-multifilament yarn of the warp yarn is more than the intermingle ratio of the PET-multifilament yarn of the warp yarn. In the warp yarn, the PET-multifilament yarn is shrunk by heating, so that the substantial length of the PET-multifilament yarn becomes shorter than the substantial length of the PPT-multifilament yarn. The weft yarn is composed of PPT-multifilament yarn.

  • Patent number: 5240424
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a plug connector having a plug shell formed with a flange and a receptacle connector having a receptacle shell provided on its outer circumference with a fitting device. The electrical connector further includes a coupling ring surrounding the plug shell and rotatable and holding the flange of the plug shell. The coupling ring has on its inner circumference a fitting device fitted with the first mentioned fitting device and a flange urging portion for urging the flange. The electrical connector includes at least one wave-shaped annular spring interposed between the flange and the flange urging portion and rotatable together with the coupling ring.

  • Patent number: 4983004
Abstract: A plurality of liquid crystal displays, each able to independently display one of a plurality of MRI tomograms, is dispersed such that the display screen of each appear planar from a common point and are positioned such that the spacing between each display screen and the next one in front or back and of it is proportional to the spacing between the cross sections belonging to the MRI tomograms displayed by those display screens. A hologram screen is provided in position facing the display screens of the plurality of displays. By illuminating the plurality of displays with light from behind, light passing through each of the display screens will impinge on the hologram screen, and part of this light will be diffracted backwards by the hologram screen, causing virtual images of the MRI tomograms to appear in front of the hologram screen.

  • Patent number: 4361830
Abstract: The x-y coordinates are determined of a multiplicity of points set at very small intervals of a fixed value on a contour line, the coordinates of a selected number of points on either side of one (central point) of the aforementioned multiplicity of points are averaged, the two points corresponding to the two sets of averaged coordinates are connected by a straight line, a perpendicular line is drawn to this straight line from the aforementioned central point, and the distance from the central point to the foot of the perpendicular line on the straight line is calculated. This distance varies with the change in the shape of the contour line. By finding this distance with respect to each of the points on the contour line and displaying the distances found, there can be obtained a figure indicative of features of the shape of the contour image.
