  • Publication number: 20240109326
Abstract: A liquid ejection head includes a print element substrate including multiple ejection openings, pressure chambers, a common flow path, and pumps, the pumps being configured to circulate liquid between the common flow path and the pressure chamber; and a flow path member laminated to the print element substrate. The flow path member includes a supply flow path and a collection flow path, the supply flow path being configured to supply liquid to the print element substrate, and the collection flow path being configured to collect liquid that is not ejected. The supply flow path and the collection flow path have liquid connection with the same common flow path. A circulating pump generates a flow of liquid flowing in an order of the supply flow path, the common flow path, and the collection flow path, the circulating pump being provided at a position different from the print element substrate.

  • Patent number: 7530117
Abstract: A server transmits, to clients, display data for displaying a plurality of input areas for pieces of identification information which identify apparatuses in which software is to be installed. The server receives the plurality of pieces of identification information input to the input areas. The server then issues, to the clients, license information for permitting installation of the software to the apparatuses corresponding to the pieces of received identification information. This makes it possible to efficiently issue license information of software.

  • Patent number: 7231133
Abstract: A transfer unit and an image output control unit are provided in order to check and prevent any alteration or forgery of image file data in a memory card. The transfer unit transfers a digital signature of the image file data stored in the memory card, a secret key used for the digital signature or a public key paired to the secret key, together with the image file data and a property file, to an image control apparatus. The image output control unit controls an image output in accordance with the information transferred by the transfer unit.

  • Patent number: 7120382
Abstract: To obtain proper output results regardless of the type of recording sheets and obtain the user's desired output results without having the user perform cumbersome operations, the user operates an operating section to select a sheet feeding stage, gives an instruction to start copying, and then a controller section 15 of an image forming apparatus determines whether or not a 180° rotation mode for rotating image data through 180° is set and/or whether or not preprint sheets are used for recording. If the answer is negative, the image data are output based on normal settings. On the other hand, if the answer is affirmative, the image data are output after being rotated through 180°.

  • Patent number: 7018466
Abstract: A concrete admixture or a mortar admixture which is obtained by mixing a silicate with an acid in the presence of water and then solidifying the mixture. It is preferable that the silicate is sodium silicate and the acid is a carboxylic acid. This admixture can improve a tensile strength of a concrete or a mortar. Since a concrete or a mortar containing the admixture, cement, an aggregate and water is high in tensile strength, it can advantageously be used in various concrete structures, concrete products or mortar products.

  • Publication number: 20040254889
Abstract: A license information issuing server according to this invention selects a product type corresponding to a sales form for software in accordance with an instruction from a user, and registers the selected product type in a database in association with identification information of software. The apparatus issues license information for the software registered in the database, which is required to install the software. This makes it possible to effectively perform sales management of software while issuing license information for the software.

  • Patent number: 6459864
Abstract: An image forming system selects any one of plural image forming modes including a first mode, wherein an image forming process is performed such that plural images are arranged on an identical face of a sheet. The system performs the image forming process based on the selected image forming mode and inhibits a working process for the sheets on which the images have been formed When printing is performed for a postcard or the like, the system shortens a printing time necessary to print an output result desired by a user, obviates a user's erroneous operation, and prevents creating an unpurposed output matter.
