  • Publication number: 20120200781
Abstract: In a digital broadcast receiving apparatus, a channel selection and demodulation section performs channel selection and demodulation processing for a broadcast wave of a digital broadcast received via an antenna. A microcomputer reads data stored in a nonvolatile memory via an access bus, stores a program included in the read data into a volatile memory, and executes the program. The digital broadcast receiving apparatus is configured to permit retrieval of transfer data on the access bus by the channel selection and demodulation section, and the channel selection and demodulation section recognizes a parameter used for the channel selection and demodulation processing and acquires the parameter, out of the transfer data on the access bus.

  • Publication number: 20100059197
Abstract: The present invention provides a continuous casting method of molten metal using electromagnetic force to improve the cast slab surface properties and reduce the nonmetallic inclusions and bubbles trapped inside the cast slab. An alternating current is run through an electromagnetic coil 4 arranged around a casting mold 1 so as to surround a casting space 8 to control the meniscus shape to improve the cast slab surface properties, the discharge ports 6 of a submerged entry nozzle 5 are made upward oriented, and the direction of the discharge flow 14 from the discharge ports 6 is made one to above the intersection A of the casting mold short side and meniscus. Due to this, the nonmetallic inclusions and bubbles in the discharge flow are absorbed by the continuous casting mold flux of the meniscus 11 at the part of the meniscus reached.

  • Patent number: 7657681
Abstract: In an arbitration circuit in which a shared circuit such as a memory is used exclusively by one of a plurality of functional blocks at a time, an access reservation request is issued from one of the functional blocks, and the access request associated with the access reservation request is reserved. Thereafter, when an access request is issued from another functional block, it is determined which one of the access reservation request and the access request from these functional blocks takes precedence. For example, if the access request from the latter functional block has a low priority level, the access reservation request is selected and the circuit waits for an access request from the functional block which has issued this access reservation request. In this manner, it is possible to avoid cancellation of a once-accepted access request and waiting for a high-priority access request.
