Abstract: A hair dye and hair-dyeing methods using the hair dye are provided. The hair dye comprises, as essential ingredients, (i) a formulation primarily composed of a dye component-including indican derived from indigo plants and (ii) a formulation primarily composed of a ?-glucosidase enzyme component. Hair is first mordanted with a dye mordant such as aluminum, iron and the like, and then secondly the prepared hair dye is uniformly applied to the hair either directly or as a mixture of the dye and a proper amount of water. Upon completion of the hair-dyeing, hair is rinsed with water and is finished by drying.

Abstract: A decubital remedy suitable for cutaneous administration contains ubidecarenone as an effective ingredient. The decubital remedy, which may preferably take the form of a cream, lotion or ointment, is effective in reducing decubitus-related severe pain and restoring the tissue damaged by decubitus. It is applicable even to patients who are unable to take drugs orally by themselves due to dyscrasia or cranial nerve disorders. It is also free of such cumbersomeness and body-wide influence as injection.

Abstract: A composition for reducing hair fall-out comprising a ubiquinone (coenzyme Q.sub.n) represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein n represents an integer of from 7 to 10. In addition to such a ubiquinone, the composition may contain a skin peripheral vasodilator drug, such as carpronium chloride, vitamin E nicotinate and benzyl nicotinate.

Abstract: Cutaneous administration of ubidecarenone, for example, application of ubidecarenone in the form of an ointment has been proven to be effective for treatment of various skin disorders caused by radiation, such as radiation ulcers and radiation dermatitis.
