  • Patent number: 10039187
Abstract: A flexible substrate having a branch structure in the related art has problems in that: adhesive strength after two bodies are folded and fixed at a bonding region decreases due to an unfolding and opening force at a curve portion and ends of the bonded portions are peeled off and generate gaps; and in a soldering process of the two bodies, the electrodes of one body soldered first are displaced due to reheating in soldering the other body secondly and deteriorate in soldered connection. The present invention provides a new flexible substrate having a branch structure, including first and second bodies joined together, and having a structure in which one of the bodies can be folded back in a longitudinal direction of the whole flexible substrate. Tip ends of the two bodies are provided with multiple electrodes, and are connected by soldering to approximately corresponding positions on both surfaces of an end portion of a printed substrate concerned.

  • Patent number: 8072125
Abstract: A spark plug 100 comprised of a metal shell 1, an insulator 2, a center electrode 3 and a ground electrode 4. A rear-end face of the ground electrode 4 is welded to a front-end face of the metal shell 1, and a bent portion 5 located at the intermediated position in the longitudinal direction is bent toward the center of the spark plug 100. The ground electrode 4 assumes a circular-shape with a diameter of 2 mm or less whereby an inflow of an air-fuel mixture is not disturbed even when the air-fuel mixture directly flows into a back face of the ground electrode 4. The ground electrode 4 is comprised of an outer layer 4A made of a nickel alloy and an inner layer 4B made of pure copper with an excellent thermal conductivity, in which a ratio of a cross-sectional area of the inner layer 4B to the entire cross-sectional area of the ground electrode 4 is 10% or more to 35% or less.

  • Patent number: 7892468
Abstract: A slit yarn wherein both side parts of the slit yarn are folded one or more times, and the folded width is substantially uniform along the direction of length of the yarn. In this slit yarn, when the width is measured at 20 or more points at intervals of 0.5 m, and the fluctuation coefficient X shown in the following Equation (1) is calculated on the basis of the average value W(avg) and the standard deviation W(?), this X is (for example) approximately 4% or less. Furthermore, in the slit yarn of the present invention, the abovementioned folded parts are ordinarily shape-set.
