  • Patent number: 8169538
Abstract: An image rotation adapter that is configured to be detachably mounted between an image capturing lens and a camera main body in a camera and includes a first prism configured to invert the object image passed through the image capturing lens by reflecting an odd number of times object light passed through the image capturing lens and a second prism that is supported rotatably about the optical axis, and that is configured to further invert the object image inverted by the first prism by reflecting an odd number of times the object light passed through the first prism; an operation device configured to perform an operation to rotate the second prism; and a relay optical system configured to re-form the object image passed through the second prism on the light receiving surface of the image pickup device.

  • Publication number: 20090167933
Abstract: An image rotation adapter that is configured to be detachably mounted between an image capturing lens and a camera main body in a camera in which the image capturing lens is detachably provided to the camera main body and in which an object image passed through the image capturing lens is formed on a light receiving surface of an image pickup device via a prism incorporated in the camera main body, and that is configured to rotate the object image formed on the light receiving surface of the image pickup device, the image rotation adapter comprising: a first prism that is formed to have an optical path length close to the optical path length of the prism incorporated in the camera main body, that is arranged in an optical path before the object image passed through the image capturing lens is formed at a predetermined position in the image rotation adapter, and that is configured to invert the object image passed through the image capturing lens by reflecting an odd number of times object light passed thro

  • Patent number: 4417280
Abstract: A servo amplifier for a television camera lens for driving a servomotor to control a zooming, focusing and/or iris control is connected with a power source by way of a current limiter to prevent a voltage drop caused by a rush current. The servo amplifier is composed of a pre-amplifier and a power amplifier, in which the power amplifier is supplied with a power by way of the current limiter. The current limiter is composed of a transistor, a zener diode and resistors, and operates to limit the level of the electric current flowing therethrough.

  • Patent number: 4095244
Abstract: A handy type TV camera or motion picture camera with a grip includes a focal length varying means, a diaphragm aperture varying means and a focus adjusting means. One of these means is electrically controlled by use of a servomotor controlled by a potentiometer. Another of these means is manually controlled by use of a manually operable ring mounted on the camera. The remaining of these means is either electrically or manually controlled. The potentiometer for controlling the servomotor is operated by use of a manually operable control member provided on the grip of the camera. The control member is located on the back of the grip at an upper portion so that it is easily operated with the thumb of the hand which is used to hold the grip. The control member is horizontally movable or rotatable and the grip is extended obliquely downward and forward to further facilitate the operation of the control member.
