  • Patent number: 7391343
Abstract: An input device includes an input circuit including a plurality of key switches connected in parallel to one another, and a control circuit including a key input terminal to which a first terminal of the input circuit is connected, and an interrupt terminal to which a second terminal of the input circuit is connected. When a key switch is turned ON, an interrupt signal is input from the second terminal of the input circuit to the interrupt terminal, whereby the control circuit transitions from a power saving mode to a normal mode. Then, the control circuit determines which one of the key switches is turned ON based on a value of a voltage applied from the first terminal of the input circuit to the key input terminal. Thus, it is possible to realize a power saving mode without having to provide a comparator.

  • Patent number: 7333403
Abstract: A turntable provided in the carousel changer has a plurality of trays provided around its rotating shaft. The turntable is provided with an annular rib including a plurality of recessed portions and a plurality of raised portions. A sensor is provided to have the rib passed therethrough and detects recessed portions and raised portions in the rib as the turntable is driven by a motor to rotate. The controller receives a detection result by the sensor and controls the motor based on the ratio of the widths of a raised portion and a recessed portion adjacent to each other in the rib. Therefore, this carousel changer can accurately stop a tray carrying an optical disk desired to be reproduced in a prescribed position.

  • Publication number: 20060156047
Abstract: A microcomputer 11 stays in a power saving mode until a remote control signal is input and a first interrupt signal is input to an interrupt terminal 14. When the first interrupt signal is input, the microcomputer 11 performs an intermittent operation in which the power saving mode and the normal mode are periodically alternated with each other, and ends the intermittent operation when the remote control signal is received completely. After the intermittent operation, the microcomputer 11 stays in the normal mode if the remote control signal is a power-requesting signal and stays in the power saving mode otherwise.
