  • Patent number: 6586060
Abstract: A thin-walled laminated synthetic resin body for a liquid container according to the invention comprises first and second thin-walled synthetic resin layers (10, 20), each having a curved surface portion (11, 21) and a projection (12, 22) extending outwardly from a predetermined region at an edge of the curved surface portion (11, 21). The first and second layers (10, 20) are laminated to each other with the curved surface portions (11, 21) bulging out in the same direction, are integrated with each other at the edges (13, 23) of the curved surface portions (11, 21) and projections (12, 22), and are separable from each other at regions exclusive of the edges (13, 23). When a liquid is charged, the curved surface portion (21) of one of the first and second layers (20) is separated from the curved surface portion (11) of the other layer (10) and reversed.

  • Patent number: 6279982
Abstract: When a rear seat is moved forward, a front leg is swung forward around a roller arm. When the front leg of the rear seat is swung forward by a predetermined angle, a hook provided in the roller arm is detached from a round bar portion of a striker so that a roller is moved downward along a guide rail. Further, as the roller is moved downward along the guide rail, the front leg of the rear seat is swung forward around the roller arm. Therefore, a radius of rotation of the seat is reduced when the rear seat is moved to a position for storage on a vertical-front-side floor surface.

  • Patent number: 5988726
Abstract: A simple-structure vehicular rear seat wherein an upstanding seat cushion reliably receives and stops a luggage piece placed on a luggage supportive floor surface if the piece moves for any reason. When a seat back is laid down forward, the reverse surface of the seat back can be used as a luggage supportive floor surface. A seat cushion is supported on an elevated step portion of a stepped floor, and made up of a lower cushion and an upper cushion. The upper cushion is connected to the elevated step portion by a link-type connection mechanism that allows the upper cushion to be moved between a normal position where the upper cushion is supported on the lower cushion and an upstanding position where the reverse surface of the upper cushion abuts against and is supported by a front wall surface of the elevated step portion.

  • Patent number: 5868450
Abstract: A rear seat apparatus for a vehicle is disposed on a rear elevated portion of a stepped floor of the vehicle. At least a rear seat cushion of the rear seat apparatus is allowed to swing toward the front of the vehicle from a horizontal seating state, in which a passenger may sit on the rear seat cushion. The rear seat apparatus has a connection mechanism for connecting the rear seat cushion to the rear elevated portion of the floor. The connection mechanism allows the rear seat cushion to be moved by approximately 90 degrees toward the front of the vehicle and then slid downward so as to be brought into an upright state, in which a front portion of the rear seat cushion is held on a front lower-level portion of the floor. The connection mechanism also allows the rear seat cushion to be moved by approximately 180 degrees from the seating state toward the front of the vehicle so as to be brought into an overturned state.

  • Patent number: 5810416
Abstract: A rear seat apparatus for a vehicle is disposed on a rear elevated portion of the floor of the vehicle and allows at least a rear seat cushion, which is a portion of the rear seat apparatus, to swing by approximately 90 degrees toward the front of the vehicle from a horizontal seating state to an upright state. The rear seat apparatus includes a connecting mechanism which connects the rear seat cushion to the floor so as to allow the rear seat cushion to be swung between the seating state and the upright state. In the seating state, the rear seat cushion is disposed on the floor so that a passenger can sit thereon. In the upright state, the rear surface of the rear seat cushion is allowed to abut the vertical wall surface of a stepped portion of the floor.

  • Patent number: 5716036
Abstract: A mounting structure for mounting a polygon mirror on a rotating body includes a mirror seat formed in the rotating body for mounting the polygon mirror thereon and a fixing device for fixing the polygon mirror on the mirror seat. The mirror seat is formed on the periphery of the rotating body, and the polygon mirror includes in a top surface thereof an annular groove of a rectangular section at a position thereof a predetermined radius from the center of rotation of the rotating body. The fixing device comprises a planar ring-shaped anchoring member fixed to the rotating body and having along a peripheral portion thereof a plurality of downwardly extending conical or semispherical projections. The projections of the anchoring member engage with the annular groove in the polygon mirror and press against the upper edge of the inner periphery of the groove by point contact to thereby fix the polygon mirror in position.
