  • Patent number: 5097389
Abstract: A high frequency device having a shield casing with the interior divided into small sections by shield plates, and with circuit blocks of a high frequency circuit in the respective sections including substrates with circuit components on the upper surface with terminals extending through the substrate to a printed circuit on the lower surface. A feedthrough capacitor is mounted in the casing or in the shield plate, or both, in a level corresponding to the level of the substrate, such that the feedthrough terminal of the capacitor extends adjacent the printed circuit, and such that, when the device is immersed in solder to solder the terminals of the components to the printed circuit, the feedthrough terminal of the capacitor is also soldered to the printed circuit and the capacitor itself is also soldered to the casing or the shield plate.

  • Patent number: 5012932
Abstract: Uninspected bundles of paper sheets are supplied to each of a plurality of pre-processors in units of bundles. Each pre-processor removes a band from the uninspected bundle, prints a serial number in association with the received paper sheets on the band, and holds the band. A number of reusable paper sheets from which the band is removed are counted by and stored in a corresponding inspection device. Each inspection device stores the serial number printed on the band by the preprocessor. In each inspection device, the paper sheets to be re-inspected are sorted by a separator card in units of bundles and stored as rejectable notes in a rejectable note cassette. A center console receives data such as a count result, band number, cassette number, card number, and the like, from each inspection device, and sequentially stores these data in units of inspection devices.

  • Patent number: 4943810
Abstract: An antenna device used for a UHF tuner or the like, which comprises a combination of an antenna coil formed of single-covered wire with an insulator covering the antenna coil. The insulator is dividedly molded into a coil containing member having an antenna coil containing recess and a terminal member having a pair of antenna terminals and a resistor containing recess, a fitting portion to be fitted between the coil containing member and the terminal member is provided, and at the terminal member a cover for closing an opening at the coil containing recess. The coil containing member containing the antenna coil in the coil containing recess and the terminal member containing a resistor in the resistor containing recess are integrally connected by press-fitting of the fitting portion and the antenna coil is housed in the insulator, thereby obtaining the insulating property equivalent to a double covered wire without deforming the the coil during or after the assembly of the antenna device.

  • Patent number: 4816613
Abstract: An electrical shielding case for shielding a plurality of circuits from each other, which includes a plurality of plate portions formed by dividing a metallic flat plate, and remaining parts of the plate portions left for connection when outer peripheries of the plate portions are cut off, with each of the plate portions being folded at the remaining portions as fulcrums so as to form the electrical shielding case, and is characterized in that there are provided bendable cut and raised portions formed at parts of other confronting plate portions interfering with end faces of the plate portions upon folding thereof.

  • Patent number: 4761712
Abstract: A mounting structure for temporarily mounting electronic parts fitted into a mounting bore formed in a frame and fixedly soldered at the fitted portion thereto enhances assembly and soldering. The mounting structure includes a tongue integral with the frame, folded thereover, and positioned around the mounting bore, so that the electronic part fitted therein is elastically fixedly supported on the frame by the tongue although the mounting bore is formed slightly larger in diameter than the fitted portion of the electronic part. The electronic part is thus temporarily fixedly held in the frame for being fixedly soldered to the frame with accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4587460
Abstract: A high pressure discharge lamp in which discharge between a pair of main electrodes in an arc tube of the discharge lamp is sustained by a D.C. or high frequency current. The circuit comprises discharge mode controller for controlling the discharge such that mainly a low-frequency discharge is produced between the main electrodes at least within a predetermined time from initiation of the discharge within the arc tube, and subsequently transferred to the D.C. or high-frequency discharge.
