  • Publication number: 20100038162
Abstract: A ureal water tank (28), a storage of an aqueous urea solution, is located within a utility room (6G) in a right front section of a revolving frame (6), which is readily accessible from outside. In this instance, among a plurality of operating oil conduits (18), a working mechanism operating conduit (21) which supplies operating oil to a boom cylinder (5D) of a working mechanism (5) is arranged to run along exterior surfaces of the ureal water tank (28). Therefore, even if the ureal water tank (28) is located in a place with no heat source, the aqueous urea solution in the ureal water tank (28) can be stably kept in a heated state by utilization of heat of operating oil in circulation through the working mechanism operating conduit (21).

  • Patent number: 7657841
Abstract: A display device for a construction machine has a display switching means, output control means, operation detecting means, and display prohibiting means. The display switching means switches information displayed on a monitor placed in an operation cabin, where the switching is made to prevent display of unnecessary information on the monitor while the construction machine is performing work. The output control means selects display information recorded in information recording means and outputs the selected information to the monitor. The operation detecting means detects whether or not the construction machine is in a working state. When the operation detecting means detects that the construction machine is in the working state, display switching operation of the monitor is performed by the display switching means, and the display prohibiting means prohibits the display of specific information.

  • Publication number: 20100004834
Abstract: A work machine gear shifting control device is capable of readily identifying the cause of failure in learning the clutch hydraulic pressure for operating a transmission clutch. A transmission gear shifting control section 46 is provided for each of clutches 61-65, and performs a learning process in which each of a plurality of handling processes learns the clutch hydraulic pressure for each of the clutches 61-65 and determines the clutch hydraulic pressure characteristic values for operating the individual clutches. Further, the transmission gear shifting control section 46 performs a learning monitoring process in each of the plurality of handling processes to formulate an error judgment, which indicates whether learning has failed in each of the plurality of subprocesses, and displays the result of the judgment.

  • Publication number: 20090255750
Abstract: A priority valve 7 is disposed between a hydraulic pump 2 and a steering valve 4 and is used to supply priority steering cylinders 103a and 103b with pressurized oil discharged from the hydraulic pump 2 by controlling the differential pressure across a meter-in hydraulic line of the steering valve 4 such that the differential pressure is kept at a target value. A pressure sensor 31 for detecting the load pressures of the steering cylinders 103a and 103b is provided. On the basis of the detected load pressures, the target value set for the priority valve 7 is modified by devices including a controller 32, a solenoid valve 33, a pilot hydraulic line 29, and a pressure receiving unit 24c of the priority valve 7. The above configuration enables suppression of a shock occurring at the start of turning of the steering wheel.

  • Patent number: 7584611
Abstract: When a mode selection command selects an economy mode, a mode selector 700e is turned on and outputs an engine revolution speed modification value ?N0 (?N1=?N0) computed by an engine-revolution-speed modification value computing section 700d. A subtracter 700f subtracts the engine revolution speed modification value ?N1 from a rated target revolution speed Nmax, thereby computing a target engine revolution speed NR2. The computing section 700d computes the engine revolution speed modification value ?N0 depending on a pump delivery pressure mean value Pm. In a table stored in a memory, the relationship between Pm and ?N0 is set such that when Pm is not higher than PA near a midpoint pressure, ?N0 is 0 and when Pm exceeds PA, ?N0 is increased with an increase of Pm. Thus, the revolution speed of a prime mover is reduced by mode selection so as to improve fuel economy.

  • Patent number: 7543448
Abstract: A computing section computes a reference revolution-speed decrease modification amount DNLR; and multiplies an engine revolution speed modification gain KNL by a reference revolution-speed decrease modification amount DNL and then DNLR, to thereby compute an engine revolution-speed decrease modification amount DND based on input change of an operation pilot pressure, which is modified in accordance with DNLR. At the time when a lever operation input from an operation command unit is changed from full stroke to half stroke, if a pump delivery pressure is in a pressure range of a pump absorption torque control region Y where the pump delivery pressure is lower than that in a region X, the reference revolution-speed decrease modification amount computing section 700v computes the modification amount DNLR to be 0, and therefore lowering of a target engine revolution speed with auto-acceleration control is not caused.

  • Publication number: 20090055062
Abstract: A work machine gear shifting control system provides gear shifting conditions for an automatic gear shifting mode in accordance with work site conditions. An area 62 of a display device 49 displays a permissible velocity setting range and setup operation guidance, and another area 64 shows guidance to indicate whether the setting is acceptable or unacceptable. When the traveling velocity falls within the permissible velocity setting range, the displayed guidance changes to indicate that the setting is acceptable. When, in this instance, an operator presses a setup switch 23 with desired timing, a transmission gear shifting control section 45 acquires the prevailing vehicle velocity and velocity ratio (or vehicle velocity), and stores adjustment values in an adjustment value storage section 43 so that the vehicle velocity and velocity ratio become the gear shifting control threshold values for normal gear shifting control (steps S535 to S545).

  • Patent number: 7493978
Abstract: A traveling hydraulic working machine has a target revolution speed of an engine commanded by an input and sensors for detecting an operating situation of a hydraulic actuator and an operating situation of a traveling system. A prime-mover revolution speed control modifies the target revolution speed of the prime mover when the operating situation of the hydraulic actuator and the operating situation of the traveling system come into respective particular states, and controls the revolution speed of the prime mover, With the traveling hydraulic working machine, in the combined operation of traveling and working a hydraulic actuator, work can be performed on the basis of the engine revolution speed intended by an operator. When a working load varies, the engine revolution speed is automatically controlled.
